1844 (twenty-four years after the reign of Qing Daoguang), Feng Yunshan and Hong Xiuquan successively came to Zijingshan in Guiping to establish a congregation. Soon, this kind of worship organization spread all over Zhou Xun, Linzhou counties and Xinyi, Gaozhou and other places in Guangdong. The conditions for an armed uprising are gradually maturing.
In June of the 30th year of Daoguang (1July of 850), Hong Xiuquan gave the order to organize a group camp. More than 0/0000 people from all over the country gathered in Jintian to prepare for the uprising, and defeated the Qing army twice in Caicun River near Wang Si, Pingnan and Jintian, with great momentum. From the end of 1850 to the beginning of 185 1, the leading group composed of Hong Xiuquan, Yang, Xiao Chaogui, Feng Yunshan, Wei Changhui and Shi Dakai [1] organized a group camp in Jintian Village, Guangxi, and launched an armed confrontation with the Manchu court. Hong Xiuquan solemnly announced the uprising in Jintian Village. [2] All the officers and men started a vigorous Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement from Jintian, with their hair changed and red scarves wrapped around their heads.
