Baiyangdian is located in the hinterland of Beijing and Tianjin, with a long history and rich cultural heritage. As the largest inland lake in Hebei Province, Baiyangdian has given spirituality to the vast North China Plain and is known as the Pearl of North China. Due to its unique ecological and geographical advantages, Baiyangdian has long been a natural sanatorium and oxygen-rich backyard for dignitaries. Nowadays, China's economy is rising rapidly, and there are more and more middle class people with spending power. They are in urgent need of high-quality natural ecological areas to meet their needs for travel, vacation, retirement, etc. Against this background, health industry operator Jinghan Real Estate is building an innovative demonstration zone in Baiyangdian covering health care, leisure and senior care, tourism and vacation, etc., and is committed to better utilizing the local ecological advantages and benefiting the people of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
As early as the Neolithic Age, humans have been living and multiplying in the Baiyangdian area. According to my country's oldest geographical classic "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", Baiyangdian Lake was the old course of the Yellow River in ancient times. At that time, the Central Plains region was "flooded to the sky, and the mountains and hills were vast." Dayu controlled the water, dug rivers, and diverted floodwaters into the sea. The last stop was Baiyangdian. The roaring Yellow River carried a large amount of silt and deposited the Jizhong Plain around Baiyangdian.
During the Spring and Autumn Period, the ancient Yellow River changed its course and moved southward, but some tributaries did not change its course with the change of the Yellow River. They still poured into Baiyangdian. There were nine such rivers in a row, which laid the foundation for Baiyangdian's "Nine Rivers at the Bottom" pattern. The famous general Yang Yanzhao of the Song Dynasty stationed troops here to defend the Liao Dynasty and defeated Han Chang. During the Qing Dynasty, the two emperors Kangxi and Qianlong visited Baiyangdian more than 40 times and built four palaces. Emperor Kangxi also left a poem that said, "It's ridiculous that I visited far away in those days, and I could vaguely see the Wuyue camp."
