Note that the Lotus Festival is in Songjiang District, Shanghai. There are many scenic spots with lotus as the theme, such as Xinbang Lotus Commune and Xuelang Lake Ecological Park. Xinbanghe has a profound cultural heritage. As early as 1500 years ago, it was named "Lotus Leaf Land" because of its small islands and lotus leaves. The Yuan Dynasty was named "furong town" because lotus flowers were planted everywhere. In recent years, more than 500 species of lotus and more than 60 species of water lilies have been planted on a large scale in Xinbang Town.
