Creative background:
This group of poems is considered as Xi Chun's 14th year in Song Xiaozong (1 187). After Lin Zifang was promoted to Jinshi, he served as the secretary of Zhige, and Yang Wanli was his superior and good friend. At this time, Lin Zifang went to Fuzhou to handle affairs. Yang Wanli saw Lin Zifang off from Jingci Temple near the West Lake in Hangzhou in the morning and wrote this group of poems when passing by the West Lake.
Yang Wanli's poems are good at drawing lines. In this respect, this poem can be regarded as one of his masterpieces.
