To the restaurant: Li He in Tang Dynasty
I am a poor and pitiful wanderer, just to drink all my sorrows and joys. I wish you good health, wine owner.
That year, my father went to the west and spent money in a foreign land. The broken willow at the door of my house disappeared.
Well, I heard that when Ma Zhou was a guest in Sanfeng, it was old and deserted.
A few short lines won the favor of the emperor.
I have lost my soul and can't call it back. A rooster, the world is bright.

This poem describes the poet's difficult situation and sad mood when he lived in Chang 'an and sought an official position. The poet drinks as a guest as a frustrated person. The first four sentences are about the guest's situation and depressed mood. In the middle four sentences, the poet changed from self-injury to conceit and self-encouragement, and compared himself with Yan Fu, a famous man in Han Dynasty, and Ma Zhou, a famous man in Tang Dynasty, which showed that he had the talent of learning to be an official and would be appreciated by the emperor sooner or later. In the last four sentences, the poet changed from conceit and self-encouragement to self-injury and felt his cold and lonely situation. Three layers mean ups and downs, frustration and frustration, but they are connected with the meaning of talent. Creation background
In 806, with the enthusiasm of young people who had just entered the society, Li He planned to greet the imperial examination with hope. Unexpectedly, he was deprived of the examination qualification on the grounds of avoiding the name of his father "Jin Su". This unexpected blow made the poet's life bumpy. The poet's "complaining will complain" has since become an important theme in his works, and his poems have therefore shown the characteristics of grief and indignation. Brief introduction of the author
Li He (about 79 1 year-about 8 17), a native of Fuchang, Henan Province in the Tang Dynasty (now Yiyang County, Luoyang City, Henan Province), lived in Fuchang Changgu, later called Li Changgu, and was a descendant of Zheng Liang, the imperial clan of the Tang Dynasty. Known as "Shi Gui", he was a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, as well as Du Fu, Li Bai, Shi Fo and Wang Wei. He is the author of Long Valley Collection. Li He was a romantic poet in the mid-Tang Dynasty, and he was also called "Sanli" in Tang Dynasty with Li Bai and Li Shangyin. There is a saying that "talents are too white and talents are too long." Li He is another famous romantic poet in the history of China literature after Qu Yuan and Li Bai. Li He has been depressed and sentimental for a long time, and his life style is bitter. In the eighth year of Yuanhe (8 13), he resigned as a gift officer and returned to Changgu due to illness. He died young at the age of 27.
