Translation of the Ancient Poem "Sending Wei to the Danyang Army"

Farewell to Wei Ru Danyang: Farewell to the boat outside the city of Danjiang, knowing the sorrow of the two places today. At night, I was still standing in Jiangnan, looking at Jiangbei. Crows have returned to their nests and looked at the water leisurely.

"Danyang sent Wei to join the army" Original: Danyang sent a boat with a national gift, and you didn't know each other's autumn. I'm still standing on the south side of the Yangtze River, looking at Jiangbei. The crows have returned to their nests to see the flowing water.

Appreciate:

This poem is about the author's farewell to Wei He, which shows their sincere friendship and infinite affection. The first two sentences of this poem have been deleted.

The first sentence "Danyang national gift" explained that the place to see me off was on the outer edge of Danyang. "boating" means that friends will leave by water. At this time, the poet felt thousands of feelings of parting and all kinds of sadness. The two seemingly seasonal words "autumn in two places" and "autumn" actually express people's emotions. The bleak autumn scenery added a parting line. The author also skillfully uses word breaking to explain "sorrow" with "autumn" in "heart", so "autumn in two places" is a pun.

The last two sentences of the poem are about Wei's deep thoughts after he was sent away. The sentence "Looking at Jiangnan at night" is naturally transferred, and the abstract sadness of the previous sentence is vividly expressed without trace.
