Siming Kuangke; a generation of Confucianism: The Shangliandian refers to the Tang Dynasty poet He Zhizhang, whose courtesy name was Jizhen, who called himself Siming Kuangke, and was a native of Yongxing, Yuezhou. He was a Jinshi in the early years of Zhengsheng of the Tang Dynasty. During the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, he was the minister of the Ministry of Rites and a bachelor of Jixian Academy. He was a guest of the prince, and became a secretary and prisoner. Later he returned to his hometown and became a Taoist priest. He likes to drink and has a good relationship with Li Bai. He is good at calligraphy, especially cursive script; his poems about scenery are relatively fresh and popular. Xia Lian Dian refers to He Xun, a native of Shanyin in Kuaiji during the Western Jin Dynasty. His courtesy name was Yan, who was a scholar first. He first served as the order of Yangxian and Wukang, and then served as the censor, but resigned due to illness. When Langya King Sima Rui (Emperor Jin Yuan) was guarding Jiankang, he served as Taichang, Zuo Guanglu and other officials, and was the leader of the Jiangnan Tu nationality who supported Sima Rui. Seven-Character Couplet of the He Family Ancestral Hall
A general can determine the world through hundreds of battles; a scholar can recognize a hero with his huge eyes. This couplet was written as a gift to He Long by He Shougan, a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty and the commander of Wulong Division in Fuling, Sichuan after the Revolution of 1911. The words "general" and "hero" in the couplet refer to He Long, and "scholar" refers to He Shougan humbly.
