? The red leaves were written in Yugou,
? At that time, they were told to flow westward.
? He went eastward to the world for no reason,
? But it made the king distrustful and worried.
——Tang Yin's poem on painting
"Yugou" refers to the flowing ditch in the palace.
"At that time, I was told to flow westward and go eastward to the human world for no reason." If eastward to the human world refers to outside the palace, then the corresponding westward direction should be deep inside the palace. Flowing westward and flowing eastward are completely different life destinies.
"But it makes the king not believe in sorrow", forcing a happy face, with a hint of good memories and expectations in his expression. Do you think she is smiling or sad? I have worked so hard, but I still can't get your sincerity.
Tang Yin was cynical and talented. He was good at famous poems and prose. He was known as one of the "Four Great Talents in the South of the Yangtze River" together with Zhu Yunming, Wen Zhengming, and Xu Zhenqing. His paintings were renamed, and he was known as one of the "Four Talents in the South of the Yangtze River" together with Shen Zhou, Wen Zhengming, and Qiu Ying. "Four Families of Wu Clan", also known as "Four Families of Ming Dynasty".
His paintings of ladies and figures generally did not cross the boundaries of figure painting in the Southern Song Dynasty. This has been said before, and the same was true for the entire Ming Dynasty. In particular, his heavy-color meticulous figure paintings are still a legacy of the Southern Song Dynasty's courtyard paintings.
The paintings of ladies painted by Tang Yin have different themes. Some praise love, such as Cui Yingying in "The West Chamber"; some praise freedom, such as Chang'e flying to the moon; some praise intelligence, such as the continuation of "Han Shu" "Benji"; but they have different characteristics, showing the softness and loveliness of women. They are all beautiful women with positive energy. Tang Yin once wrote a poem: "I hope that I will die of old age among flowers and wine, and do not want to bow in front of carriages and horses."

The beauties in Tang Yin's paintings generally have the following artistic characteristics:
1. They have delicate faces and dark skin. Long hair, broad forehead, round face. There are willow leaf eyebrows, red phoenix eyes, and a little cherry mouth.
Tang Yin also used Du Jin's "Three Whites Method" to enhance the appeal of beauty, that is, applying a little pink on the forehead, bridge of the nose, chin, neck, hands, and ears of the beautiful woman, which can be called " Liubai method". However, Tang Yin's "Six White Method" coloring is not a simple flat application, but a light dye with water halo, which has no abrupt feeling and is relatively smooth.
It can be said that one white color covers all the ugliness. Compared with the paintings of ladies by Wen Zhengming and Qiu Ying, the beauties painted by Tang's paintings are more delicate and charming.
2. Have a gorgeous and graceful figure. In addition to using slender peak strokes to outline the beauty's skin and face, Tang Yin also uses loose lines to depict the grace and luxury of the beauty's clothing, showing the elegant, light and drooping agility of the dress.
Tang Yin is particularly good at expressing the swaying of skirts and shawls in the wind, with folds following the shape, just like rippling water, flexible curling, stillness in movement, and extremely round and changeable lines.
3. The coloring, composition, and modeling are exquisite and elegant, paying attention to the mutual care of the whole and the details, and paying attention to the beauty of change.
4. His demeanor is dignified and peaceful, but thoughtful and unpredictable. She has the ancient air of a cold-faced beauty and her aloof and joyless appearance, which makes people admire her greatly.
