Introduction of Wulongtan Park
Wulongtan Park is located at the foot of Liang Qingshan in Gulou District, Nanjing, with Guangzhou Road at the north gate and Huju Road at the west gate. It covers an area of 5 hectares and is located in Fiona Fang. During the Three Kingdoms period, Wulongtan was named Qingshui Datang and Furong Pool. According to legend, there were four springs in the pool during the Jin Dynasty, which gushed all the year round. One June 19, four oolong trees were playing by the spring. Oolong will appear on time every year, hence the name Wulongtan. A few years later, the four springs disappeared one after another, and the oolong did not appear again. However, the scenery of Wulongtan is still very beautiful.
Wulongtan Park is small, but clean and elegant, and expensive. There is a small lake and a series of cultural attractions in the park, including Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall, Wei Yuan Memorial Hall and Luxiu Temple.
Miaoxiang Pavilion: Located on the west bank of Wulongtan, it was built at 1988. It has two floors, the upper is the exhibition hall, and the lower is the Yan Zhenqing Painting and Calligraphy Museum. "Strange fragrance" means "refreshing and smelling strange fragrance", which was inscribed by Du Ping. There is a 400-year-old osmanthus fragrans on the south lawn, with a bust of 180cm and a plant height of 2.2m, which has been cultivated into a landscape and can be called a stunner in the bonsai of osmanthus tree stumps.
China Chess Bridge: Built in 2000, it is13.65m long and12.09m wide. There are seven China chess pieces on the bridge deck, with a diameter of 1m, a thickness of 0.33m and a weight of 680kg. In July, 200 1 year, it was recognized as "the largest landscape chess, chessboard and China chess bridge" by Shanghai World kiness Headquarters.
Fangsheng Temple: Wulongtan is the largest pond, built in the Tang Dynasty. Later generations built Fangsheng Temple by the lake in memory of Duke Lu. Fangsheng Temple was rebuilt in August 1989. The white marble engraved with the words "Fangsheng Temple" is a precious cultural relic of the original Fangsheng Temple. The statue in the temple looks like a portrait made by later generations, and there are couplets on both sides, which is written by Shao, a native of Lu, "Guo Qingze is on the riverside, and the array is scaled." Although the area of this nun is small, it embodies the memory of Lu Gong by later generations.
Zhenshen Stone: Also known as "Lake Stone", it is blue-gray in color and full of aesthetic feeling. The stone is 5.55 meters high and weighs more than 5 tons. It stands upright, just like a statue of Guanyin, guarding Wulongtan, with more than 10 scattered lake stones beside it, forming a group of pictures of "children worshiping Guanyin". It is a rare natural art treasure.
