Poetry of respecting teachers

1, Confucius Zi Han in the Analects of Confucius

Original text:

The higher the yang, the stronger the exercise, the foresight, and suddenly the backwardness.

The master coaxed me and wrote me articles, asking me to be polite and unable to stop.

In other words, I will use up my talents if I make a difference. Although I wanted to follow, there was no reason in the end.

Translation: I looked up at the teacher's knowledge and morality, and I looked higher and higher; I study hard, and the more I learn, the more I feel I can't finish it. It seems to be in front, and suddenly it seems to be behind.

The teacher is good at inducing me step by step, enriching my knowledge with all kinds of classics, and restraining my words and deeds with all kinds of etiquette, so that I can't stop learning before I try my best.

It seems that there is a very tall thing standing in front of me. Although I want to follow, there is no way forward.

2. Untitled Tang Dynasty poet Li Shangyin

In spring, silkworms will weave until they die, and every night, candles will dry the wick.

Spring silkworms don't spin silk until they die, and tear-like wax oil can only drip dry when candles burn to ashes.

3. Answer Ouyang Xiu, a politician and writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, to the Book of Selecting Ancestors.

Ancient scholars must have been strict with teachers before respecting them.

An ancient learner must respect his teacher. Only after respecting the teacher can he respect the truth he is learning.

4. "Teacher Friends" Tang Dynasty poet Liu Zongyuan

Original: There is no teacher in the world, so the old road is beneficial.

In today's society, when teachers are ridiculed, the whole society doesn't respect teachers, so the whole society deviates from orthodoxy more and more.

5. "Lv Chunqiu" Lv Buwei at the end of the Warring States Period

There is no ancient holy king who doesn't respect his teacher.

Translation:? The emperors of ancient sages did not disrespect their teachers.
