Shi Chi's Poetry Translation

I have countless strategies in my mind, but I have wasted these amazing talents because I can't find a way to serve my country.

Cursive writing after drunkenness is a seven-character ancient poem written by Lu You, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. The first eight sentences of this poem were written in a state of drunkenness, just like the whole process of killing the enemy in the cold, ready to go, with a turn of the pen, its full expression is clearly visible. After writing a book, the last four sentences express my feelings, and use allusions to turn the passion of fighting into uneven voices, which are loud, tragic and shocking.

The whole poem is as follows:

There are five soldiers hidden in the box, so there is no way to try. Wine is the flag, pen is the knife, and the potential falls from the sky to the galaxy.

The stone at the end of the stream is thick in Chi Mo, and the candlelight flies vertically and horizontally. After a while, I rolled up the wine, just like what I saw in Wan Li.

Husband must have a foothold in this life and do his best in business. Wuyuan jam comes out at night.

The translation is as follows:

I have my own military strategy in mind, but I want to test it, but there is no way. I have lofty sentiments. Cursive writing is like marching to fight, drinking before writing, like a majestic military flag, the pen in your hand is like a weapon, and the momentum is like the milky way falling from the sky.

The inkstone made in Duan Xi grinds ink. Under the irradiation of candlelight, the pen tip flies. Completing cursive script in an instant and drinking a glass of wine is like winning a battle, eliminating the national disaster, restoring peace and feeling comfortable.

People with lofty ideals should make contributions. The fate of the gold invaders has come to an end, and they should be pacified. When will it be possible to attack the Jin people in the north like the Han Dynasty sent troops to attack the Huns in Wuyuan? I can already imagine the scene where our army was badly purged. I only heard the sound of whipping horses, but no one spoke.

Extended data:

Lu You was a famous calligrapher in the Southern Song Dynasty. Because he has five soldiers in his chest, there is no way to try, which leads to the following vivid description of drinking and writing a book to vent his anger. Three to six sentences show us a vivid picture of drunken cursive script: the pen is vigorous, and the milky way falls from the sky; Candlelight and thick ink contrast each other, and the poet writes freely. It's really like "the left and right are dumbfounded, and it seems to compete with Chu and Han." (Li Bai's cursive song)

The poet naturally and closely combined the scene of Chen Hu fighting for Guo Ping with the whole cursive process (preparation, cursive writing and writing) and high cursive writing skills. The use of metaphor is also very successful.

"It's like seeing smoke and dust cleared in Wan Li after a while", and he wrote the peaceful scene of sweeping away the enemy and crushing the enemy's rear and the poet's proud expression.

"When Wuyuan jam comes out at night, I won't listen to people and whip!" The last two sentences echo the beginning, directly expressing the poet's desire to participate in the battle to recover the country. It shows a vivid picture of the night attack on the enemy camp, and the heroic and vigorous figure of the poet is also vivid.
