A composition about lotus flowers

"The next day, the lotus leaves are infinitely blue, and the lotus flowers are of different colors." This poem comes from Yang Wanli's poem "Chanting Lotus" in Song Dynasty. In fact, I also like lotus flowers very much.

In summer, the scorching sun makes people sweaty and listless, but it is the season when lotus flowers are in full bloom and fragrant.

I followed my parents to the lotus garden. Look! The lotus pond is covered with green lotus leaves, one by one, like a big green disk. Through the thick layers of lotus leaves, we can see the dark green lotus stalks with small thorns holding their heads high and chest erect on the water. The small fan leaves on the lotus stem are like sepals, which set off the graceful white lotus with powder. Lotus is different in every way. Some flowers are in full bloom, revealing small yellow lotus flowers; Some just opened a few petals, like shy little girls smiling at passers-by; Some are still budding flowers and bones, and the breeze is blowing on the face, and the water surface of the lotus pond is rippling. Lotus leaves and lotus flowers are swaying gently, so now they are dancing, attracting several dragonflies to fly over the lotus pond. This is really an elegant and simple landscape painting!

After a rain, the lotus pond presents another scene. Lotus leaves stand slim in the pond like a fairy who has just been drenched by rain. A breeze blew, and a drop of crystal water on the green big leaves rolled around like pearls, sometimes east, sometimes west, and sometimes into the pool-a new scene of yelling after the rain.

Lotus flowers do not stick to mud. It selflessly dedicates its fragrance to people. It decorates and beautifies people's lives with gorgeous posture. I love the beautiful lotus, and I love its selfless dedication.
