What emotion does folding willow express?

Broken willow expresses the poet's parting feelings with images such as willow and spring breeze.

"Folding Willow" is a poem expressing reluctant feelings. When the ancients sent me, they often broke willow branches to show their reluctance. The custom of breaking willows to bid farewell began in the Han nationality and prevailed in the Tang Dynasty.

According to "Three Auxiliary Huang Tu", Han people often send guests to Baqiao with willow branches. In the Tang Dynasty, Xi 'an Baling Bridge was the only place where ancient people left Chang 'an. There are willows on both sides of Baling Bridge, so it became a good place to fold willows in ancient times. For example, "willow trees are green every year, and Fuling is sad." Later generations used the metaphor of "Ba Bridge breaks willow" to say goodbye.

Li Bai wrote in "Remembering Beauty": "The willow leaves fall every year, and Lingling leaves." Although there is no specific place, poetically speaking, it is also describing Liling's farewell.

The image of expressing farewell and longing for the future:

1, Hongye: it's called a sentimental thing, and later it refers to poetry.

2. Pine and cypress: A pine tree with a strong and proud shore and vigorous vitality is a model for fighting frost and snow, and it is naturally the object of praise.

3. Indus River: The Indus River is a symbol of desolation, bitterness and sadness. Use buttonwood leaves to fall, rain to hit banana, and write down all your worries.

For example, "Every leaf, with sound, drips from the empty steps to the light" (Ting Yun's More Leaky in the Tang Dynasty), and "Indus is more raining and drips at dusk" (Li Qingzhao's Slow Voice).
