This poem shows the poet's admiration and yearning for the scenery in the south of the Yangtze River. However, some researchers put forward the "irony theory", arguing that in the history of China, the emperors of the Southern Dynasties were famous for blowing Buddha, and the Buddhism in the era of Du Mu was also a vicious development, while Du Mu had anti-Buddha thoughts, so the last two sentences were ironic. In fact, the interpretation of this poem should first start with the artistic image, rather than making abstract inferences. Du Mu opposed Buddhism.
