In fact, scholars are not the first people to listen to the moon, but their taste in listening to the moon is different. A long time ago, I heard about the poem "Listening to the Moon", which was accompanied by a beautiful story about a talented man and a beautiful woman.
It is said that during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a talented woman named Qiu Yingyi in Jinjiang, Fujian. Her husband Huang Zhiqing was an editor at the Hanlin Academy and was very famous. A rich man built a new high-rise building and asked Huang Zhiqing to inscribe a plaque on it. Huang Zhiqing planned to name "Tingyu Tower" based on the poem "The First Spring Rain in Lin'an" by Lu You, "Listen to the spring rain in the small building all night, and sell apricot flowers in the Ming Dynasty in the deep alley". When he waved his pen in public, he accidentally wrote "Tingyue Tower". A scholar joked: "Since ancient times, there have only been stories about playing with the moon, appreciating the moon, and walking on the moon. How can we get the chapter of Listening to the Moon?" Huang Zhiqing was embarrassed and was about to rewrite it when his wife Qiu Yingyi came to the rescue and said: "Listen to the Moon Tower, take the chapter The name is the best. The word "Listening to the Moon" is so wonderful that there is no need to rewrite it." Everyone was at a loss when they heard this. Qiu Yingyi smiled and recited: "The ancients have "Poetry of Listening to the Moon" as proof: "Tingyue Tower is connected to Taiqing, and the moon is most distinct when leaning on the tower. The sky is making dumb ice turns, and the medicine is being pounded and the jade pestle is ringing. The music is played in Guanghan. The sound was soft, and the axe, the osmanthus, and the osmanthus tinkled. Occasionally, a gust of fragrant wind blew away the sound of Chang'e's laughter." So, who was the "ancient" person who wrote "Poetry to the Moon"? Searching online, most of them are labeled as "Han and Wei poems", some are attributed to Xin Qiji, and some are attributed to Leng Ying. The language of this poem is simple and fresh, and has the style of Han and Wei folk songs. However, we know that in the Han and Wei Dynasties, seven-character poems were very immature, but this poem is a very mature seven-character rhymed poem that only emerged in the Tang Dynasty. From this we can see that the so-called Han and Wei poems are actually Take it for granted. As for Xin Qiji, I feel that the style of poetry is different. Furthermore, Xin is a great poet and his poems are widely circulated. Huang Hanlin cannot fail to read them. Looking at Leng Ying again, I haven't read many of his poems. I feel that Mr. Leng's words are elegant and correct, which is completely different from the style of this poem. After savoring it carefully, the scholar felt that this poem was more like the work of a talented woman. For the sake of her husband's face, it is normal for Qiu Yingyi to make excuses from ancient works. After checking the information again, I found that there was indeed a Tingyue Tower.
"Records of Customs of Overseas Chinese Hometowns in Southern Fujian" records that there is a classical garden in Anhai, Jinjiang, Fujian, named "Chiyuan Zhai", which was the private residence of Huang Zhiqing compiled by the Hanlin Academy during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. A short distance means near, so it is called "a foot far". Using the near to reach the distance is a good idea. Huang Zhiqing married Qiu Yingyi, a well-known lady in Quanzhou City. Qiu is familiar with poetry and books and is quite talented in literature. After their marriage, Huang Zhiqing built a boudoir for the Qiu family in Chiyuan Zhai. The day of completion coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival. Huang Zhiqing ordered a plaque for the small building to be inscribed with the words "Moon Appreciating Building". However, due to a typo, he actually wrote "Listening to the Moon Building". . Huang Zhiqing was about to rewrite, but Qiu said: "It's wonderful to listen to the moon, why bother to write again!" Huang Zhiqing asked: "How can I listen to the moon?" Qiu smiled and pointed to the bright moon in front of the window: "Please listen carefully."
