Dinghu Peak, also known as Tianzhu Peak, is surrounded by Buxu Mountain and Xiandu Mountain in the southeast, and faces the clear water of Lianxi River in the northwest, with a height of 170.8 square meters, a bottom area of 2,466 square meters and a top area of 7 10 square meters. Rising from the ground and soaring into the sky, it enjoys the reputation of being the first peak, the first stone and the first bamboo shoot in the world. It is mushroom-shaped, so it is also called stalagmite. There is a small lake between pine and cypress on the top of the mountain. According to legend, Xuanyuan Huangdi was pressed into the lake by a tripod during this alchemy, so it was called Dinghu Lake.
Dinghu Peak Scenic Area is the core of the whole Xiandu Scenic Area. It is mainly composed of Yangfengzhou, Lianjinxi, Dingfengtan, Dengxian Bridge, Dinghu Peak, Tongzifeng, Danxue, Yangzi Pavilion, Dinghu Scenic Area Inscription, Shen Kuo Cliff Inscription, Ye's Du Fengshan Inscription Cliff Inscription, Mao Weizhan Inscription, Xiandu Caotang, etc. At the peak, pines and cypresses store water into pools, which are inexhaustible in four seasons. Bai Juyi, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, went back with the banner of the Yellow Emperor, leaving Cui Wei alone. Sometimes the wind stirs up waves in Dinghu Lake, making a poem of sunny rain to describe the wonders of this world.
