Both Qin and Yan know it. Scholars and women are rich. Women say it's okay, scholars say it's both. Look at it and enjoy it. Wizards and women, benefiting qi and teasing, give peony.

Hui River is a double river, which flows into Jia Luhe from the east. Yan, an ancient water name, originated in Yangcheng Mountain, Dengfeng County, Henan Province.

There is a sentence at the beginning of Du Fu's "Two Roads": "On March 3rd, it was sunny and sunny, and there were many beauties by the Chang 'an River." It is said that on March 3rd, along the south bank of Chang 'an, many beautiful women went for an outing.
March 3rd, called Shangsi Festival in ancient times, is a festival to commemorate the Yellow Emperor. According to legend, March 3rd is the birthday of the Yellow Emperor. Since ancient times, the Central Plains has had "On February 2nd, the dragon looked up; I was born in Xuanyuan on March 3rd.
Traditionally, the Fourth Festival is on the fourth day of the third lunar month, which is also a spring bath day, and there are activities such as picking, pruning or bathing. These two meanings are the same.
Jane: Ancient ceremonies for eliminating disasters and seeking happiness; Mao: An ominous ceremony held by the water in ancient Spring and Autumn Period.
12 In ancient times, there was a custom of sending ominous sacrifices to the seashore in spring and autumn. Originated in ancient times. Spring is often on the fourth day of early March, with activities such as bathing, picking orchids, playing and drinking. After the Three Kingdoms Wei Dynasty, it was designated as the third day of March, which was called baby.
Sacrifice is an ancient custom. The Book of Rites of the Later Han Dynasty said: "On the fourth day of the first month, officials and people were all clean in the east. This is called washing away dirt, which is a big clean. " Removing dirt is removing old diseases. One note said, "Say the custom of Zheng. Visit Ershui Flower in March to evoke spirits and catch bluegrass to eliminate bad luck. "
Bathing is for disaster relief. At that time, people thought that women's infertility was caused by ghosts and gods, so they used the bath of Shangsi Festival to treat infertility. In this way, over time, bathing has become an important part of Shangsi Festival.
"The Analects of Confucius" says: "Those who are late in spring have taken their spring clothes, and five or six people have crowned them, and six or seven boys have bathed in interpretation, danced in the wind and sang home." It is also about the situation at that time.
After the Song Dynasty, Neo-Confucianism prevailed, ethics became stricter, and the custom of Shangsi Festival gradually declined in China culture.

Read through the above about the origin and customs of Shangsi Festival, and then read Zheng Feng's last poem "Qin Cong".
Shangsi Festival is Daughter's Day and one of the three traditional Valentine's Days in China. "Qin Chan" describes the spring outing of young men and women in Zheng State on both sides of Qin River and Zen River last March. Men and women take this opportunity to talk to each other and express their feelings.
This poem has two chapters, and there are few changes between them. One is to change "room ring Xi" into "clear", and the other is to change "room soldier Xi" into "Yin Qi film art". The first two sentences are about river water, and the last two sentences are about people.
"jiān" means that both men and women hold a plant called Zhu. "Red" is an ancient word for orchids, but the word "red" here is not an orchid, but an aquatic plant with the scientific name "Eupatorium adenophorum". There is a saying in Martin Zepi that cattails and floods grow in a swamp.
In March, young men and women come for a spring outing, picking Eupatorium adenophorum and taking it back to boil water for a bath, because Eupatorium adenophorum has a special fragrance, which can perfuse the body in spring and prevent diseases, which is the same as bathing with calamus and wormwood in water during the Dragon Boat Festival.
"Scholars and women are full of money" means that in late spring, after the confluence of the two rivers, the river is clear and the flowers on the shore are blooming well, and many young men and women gather together for fun.
Every year from February to March 3 in mid-spring to mulberry picking season in early summer, the spring is infinitely good, which is a festival for men and women to date.
"Zhou Li" recorded: "Mid-spring moon will make men and women. So sometimes, runners can't help it. If you do not use the order for no reason, you will be punished. Men and women without husbands will encounter it. " A woman has no husband, and a man has no home. In this festival, they can date and fall in love freely.
"Women are the concept, and scholars are both." This is the story of a young woman. When she saw the man she liked, she asked, "Would you like to go with me?" Before the man knew it, he said, "I've been there."
"Watch, it's fun to be alone." The beautiful and generous woman continued, "Oh, why don't you take a look with me again?"? The other side of the Lishui River is so lively, go and have fun. "

How can there be no beautiful flowers and plants in spring? The plants mentioned in the poem Qin Yan are not only Eupatorium adenophorum, but also Paeonia lactiflora.
The last sentence "give peony" is to send peony flowers. Peony is a kind of "parting" or "parting", so the ancients often gave peony to each other when they left. Gao's "Lv's Spring and Autumn Annals" said that "men and women will have a private meeting at the top of the mountain, and the joy of looking forward to it is the sum of medicine spoons", and the poet took the sum of his intentions by giving peony.
In ancient times, "give it a peony", just like today's "give you a rose", the answer is self-evident. It can be seen that peony is token of love before rose.
Meeting is as simple as that. Bloom is beautiful and the river is clear. Would you like to go to the other side of the river with me?
