As the earliest collection of poems in China, The Book of Songs contains many poems about labor. The Book of Songs Nan Zhou describes the cheerful mood of a group of women picking slugs in the field:
Pick and choose, pick and choose. It's a short story to pick up flies and collect them.
Pick and choose and say a few words. Pick and choose, fine print.
Pick and choose, Kan Kan and talk. Pick and choose, make a fool of yourself.
In the third chapter 12 sentence, only six verbs are changed, all emotions are expressed in 10 words, and the reading is only 10 syllables, with a lively rhythm. By picking, picking, smoothing, bagging and bagging, the poet described the process of women collecting plantain seeds concisely and clearly. Through this series of actions, people have seen the hardships of the working people.
We seem to see that on the endless Yuan Ye, women are singing cheerful songs in groups of three or five, reaching out and picking bananas one by one, and smoothing them one by one. A short poem not only describes the picking process, but also shows a lively atmosphere through repeated rhythms.
Through these laughing and busy women, we seem to see the busy figures of mothers and grandmothers in the fields. It is these people who are building our world and changing our lives, and we also enjoy the joy of life in this kind of labor.
The book of songs shows rich and colorful working life, full of longing for a better tomorrow, which makes us feel the happiness of the ancients' labor, the happiness of harvest and their attitude towards social life in the poems. It can be said that labor has created a splendid and long-standing civilization in China, and labor is the most glorious!
