Poems about Shakespeare

Sonnet 18

Can I compare you to summer?

You are cuter and gentler than summer;

Strong winds will shake off the beloved buds of May,

Summer is too short to rush by;

Sometimes the sun is too hot,

His golden face is often covered;

All beautiful things always lose their beauty,

Become dim due to unexpected or natural changes;

But your eternal summer will not fade,

Nor will you lose the beauty you have;

Death cannot boast that you wander in his shadow,

When you get eternal life in this eternal poem;

As long as people can breathe and see,

As long as this poem lasts, it will make you eternal.

To be or not to be, this is a question that must be answered:

Should we silently endure the merciless blow of Kanko's fate,

Or we should be enemies of endless suffering as deep as the sea,

And overcome it.

Which of the two choices is more noble?

Death is sleep, that's all!

If sleep can end the pain of mind and body,

So, this ending is promising!

Go to hell and go to bed. ...

But there may be dreams in sleep, ah, this is an obstacle:

When we remove this dying skin,

What dreams will you have in the eternal sleep of death?

This makes us hesitate,

So we are willing to endure long-term disasters,

Otherwise, who will tolerate all kinds of human torture,

For example, the tyrant's administration, the pride of the arrogant, the pain of the lovelorn, the slowness of laws and regulations, the insult of corrupt officials, or the humiliation of ordinary people,

What if he could simply cut it off?

Who else is willing to work hard all his life,

Endure its suffering silently, instead of flying away and drifting in hopeless situations,

What if he didn't hesitate because he was afraid of what was behind him?

This place is nameless, and there have been no returnees since ancient times.

Therefore, "reason" can make us cowards,

And "worry" will make our brilliant mind dull, just like a patient.

What's more, these things will spoil great events and make them lose their courage.

Classic Love Poem —— Shakespeare

How to love others if you don't love yourself?

Marriage is the end of youth,

The beginning of life.

Is love gentle?

It is too rough, too bossy, too barbaric;

It stings like a thorn.

Sincere love is never plain sailing.

Kiss is a poem in love life.

The night of love has noon sunshine.

If "like" doesn't need a reason,

Then "hatred" doesn't need any basis.

The sweetest honey can numb the taste;

Less passionate love will last for a long time;

Too fast and too slow will lead to unsatisfactory results.

Sorrow is evidence of love.

But,

Deep sorrow is evidence of misjudgment.

It is uncomfortable to lie with a crown on your head.

A crowned head can't rest on a pillow.

Neither a borrower nor a leader.

No borrowing, no lending.

Words, words, only words, no matter from the heart.

What you say is not necessarily from the heart.
