What is the origin of Tieling White Pagoda?

This tower was in ruins in the Ming Dynasty. In the 19th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, Li Furen, the company commander of Liaodong, funded the renovation. The tower is octagonal 13 solid dense eaves, made of blue bricks, 2 feet 4 inches long and 6 inches thick. Slightly tapered. The brake lever at the top of the tower has copper plates and balls, and the eight sides of the tower seat are embedded with "good weather, peaceful country and people"

Eight or eight characters, each with a relief Buddha statue and a treasure cover. In the south of the first tower, there is a Buddha statue, with a brick arch at the lower part of the tower eaves and brick carvings on the tower foundation and tower body. There are bronze mirrors and clock faces hanging under the eaves of each tower, and the tower body is painted white, so it is called white tower. In ancient times, this tower was the tallest building in the city, and the Book of World Records recorded that it could be seen from 20 miles away. Every time after the rain, the tower is high and the clouds are low, so it has the reputation of "white tower with horizontal clouds". The ancients once used "Shan Yu crossed the city head, and after the rain cleared, the clouds did not disperse; The poem "I suddenly saw the tip of the White Pagoda and plunged into the blue sky" praised the beautiful scenery of the White Pagoda. 1February 4, 975, Haicheng earthquake affected Tieling, and the spire of Baitou Tower was shaken off. Because the brake handle is connected by a chain, the brake tip is inserted obliquely on the south eaves of the three-stage tower. When I was filming the TV series "New Year's Day" in Tieling, I used it as a scene. During the period of 1987, Tieling city restored the pagoda, but the newly restored white pagoda took on a new look, but the restoration of cultural relics was not ideal because it was not completely carried out in accordance with the restoration methods of cultural relics.
