This poem vividly embodies Li Bai's unruly character: full of confidence in himself, arrogant and enthusiastic, "God-given talent, let it go and hire!" And "Oh, let a man with spirit take risks where he likes". The whole poem is full of heroic momentum, unrestrained feelings, fluent words and strong appeal. Li Bai's wine poems can best reflect his personality, profound ideological content and mature artistic expression.
Invite for a drink
Li Bai in Tang Dynasty
Original text:
Have you ever noticed how the water of the Yellow River flows out of heaven and into the ocean, never to return?
Have you noticed that the lovely hair in the bright mirror in the high room, although it is silky black in the morning, has turned into snow at night.
Oh, let a man with spirit take risks where he wants to go, and never point his golden cup at the moon empty! .
Since God has given talents, let it go and be hired! As for the money, although it is scattered, it will get together again.
Cook a sheep, kill a cow, sharpen your appetite, and let me, 300 bowls, take a big drink! .
Master Cen, Dan Qiusheng can drink and drink endlessly.
Let me sing you a song! , let your ears participate! .
What are bells and drums, delicacies and treasures? I hope I will never wake up.
Ancient sober people and sages were forgotten, and only great drinkers can be immortalized.
Chen bought a barrel of wine with 10 thousand gold coins at a banquet in the temple, and everyone laughed and said one-liners
Why do you say, my master, your money is gone? , to buy wine, we drink together! .
Five flower horses, Hsi Chin, give them to the boy in exchange for good wine. Whatever you want, sell eternal sorrow.
Translation:
Don't you see? The water of the Yellow River seems to fall from the sky, and the waves roll straight into the East China Sea, never to return.
Didn't you see, looking in the mirror in the high hall, sighing deeply at the white hair? It's still green in the morning, but it becomes like snow at night.
When you are proud of your life, you should enjoy the joy to the fullest, and don't empty the golden cup for the bright moon. God created my talent, which will be useful, and I can get it again after Huang Jinhua's death. And take cooking mutton and slaughtering cattle as a pleasure, and if necessary, drink 300 cups happily.
Cenxun, Yuan Danqiu, drink quickly and don't stop. I'll sing you a song. Please listen carefully. The luxurious life of delicacies is not precious. I just wish I could lead a drunken life, not wake up. Since ancient times, sages have been lonely, and those who can drink can leave a good reputation.
At that time, Wang Chen Cao Zhi hosted a banquet to entertain optimistic people, drinking expensive wine and having fun. Why do you say I don't have much money Just use this money to buy drinks. Precious five flowers and good horses, expensive gold leather clothes, ask the waiter to change them all into wine, and let's eliminate this endless trouble together!

The creative background of Into the Wine;
There are different opinions about the writing time of this poem. Yu Xianhao's Li Baiji believes that this poem was written around the twenty-fourth year of Kaiyuan. Huang Xixuan's Chronicle of Li Taibai was written in the 11th year of Tianbao. It is generally believed that this is what Li Bai did when he wandered between Liang and Song Dynasties and met his friends Cenxun and Yuan Danqiu after he left Beijing in Tianbao years.
In the early years of Tianbao of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Bai was recommended by Taoist wujun, and was accepted by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, ordering Li Bai to worship the Hanlin. Soon, due to the slander of powerful people, Li Bai was expelled from Beijing and kept in Tianbao for three years, and Tang Xuanzong paid back the money. Since then, Li Bai has been wandering around the Jianghuai area, and his thoughts are extremely annoyed, and he has once again embarked on a long journey of traveling around the mountains and rivers of the motherland.
When Li Bai wrote this poem, it was eight years since Li Bai was "given gold and returned" by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. During this period, Li Bai and his friend Cen Can were invited to visit Angelababy, another friend of Songshan, Yuan Danqiu. The three of them climbed the mountain for a banquet and sang songs through wine. The poet was politically excluded and frustrated, and his ideal could not be realized. They often drown their sorrows in wine.
The joy of life is nothing more than making friends at cocktail parties, and the author is at the moment of "using the talents of the world without meeting each other", so he is full of untimely drinking to drown his sorrows.
