What we are introducing today is one of the famous ancient buildings in Guangdong, which is known as "filial piety before Yangcheng". According to historical records, this temple was once the private residence of Jiande, the king of South Vietnam, and Yu Fan of the State of Wu settled here during the Three Kingdoms period. After his death, the house here was used as a temple, which was renamed as Zhisi after several times, and changed to Wu in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
The number of cultural relics in the temple can be said to be relatively large, the building structure looks very rigorous and the overall image is spectacular. This temple not only achieved high attainments in Buddhist status, but also created a unique genre style in southern China, thus symbolizing the unique Zen culture in China.
