Love Evening Pavilion, formerly known as Hongye Pavilion, is located in Qingfeng Gorge at the foot of Yuelu Mountain. It sits west to east and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The pavilion was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and it was named after Du Mu's poem "Stop to sit in the maple forest late, and the frost leaves are red in February flowers". The pavilion is simple and elegant, with golden pillars and red paint, four high wings and green glazed tiles.
Introduction of four famous pavilions in China:
1. Zuiweng Pavilion is located in Langya Mountain, Chuzhou, Anhui Province. It is a typical pavilion with Jiangnan characteristics. Since Ouyang Xiu wrote Zuiweng Pavilion in Song Dynasty, this pavilion has become famous all over the world.
2. The status of Taoranting. First of all, although there is no famous seal, Taoranting has been a must-see place for literati to come to Beijing since its completion, especially in modern times, Taoranting is shining with the glory of revolution.
3. Aiwan Pavilion covers an area of 50 square meters, with a side length of 6.23 meters, a pedestal height of 0.4 meters and a height of 12 meters. The inner column is painted with mahogany, and four outer eaves columns are made of a whole square granite. The pavilion has four eaves, a pointed treasure roof, four wings stretched out and covered with green glazed tiles.
4. Hu Xinting is located in the center of West Lake in Hangzhou, and it is also called the three islands in the lake with Santan silver moon and Ruan Gongdun. The West Lake was originally a sacred place for literati and scholars to sing. The pavilion in the center of the West Lake will certainly not be forgotten by literati. The most famous is Zhang Dai's Pavilion in the Lake Watching Snow in the Ming Dynasty.
