Appreciation of Xijiang Yuepingshan Hall

Pingshan Hall is located in the northwest of Yangzhou, on the daming temple side. It was built by Ouyang Xiu when he learned about Yangzhou in 1048 (the eighth year of Li Qing). In April of A.D. 1079 (the second year of Yuanfeng in Song Shenzong), Su Shi was transferred from Xuzhou to Huzhou, passing through Pingshan Hall for the third time in his life. At this time, it has been nine years since Su Shi and his mentor Ouyang Xiu last met, and Ouyang Xiu has died for eight years. When Su Shi was in a difficult political situation, this poem written for revisiting his hometown and remembering his teacher naturally had a lot of feelings about the past.

The first word was written in honor of the handwriting of European words. The author has a deep affection for his mentor Ouyang Xiu, and now he is in Pingshan Hall built by Ouguan, so he naturally has a lot of ideas. "I have lived under the hall three times" means that I have lived under this hall for the third time. Previously, in 107 1 year (the fourth year of Xining), he left Beijing as a general judge in Hangzhou, and in the seventh year of Xining, he moved from Hangzhou to Mizhou, passing through Yangzhou twice and coming to Pingshan Hall to pay tribute to his teacher. "Half-life in a Snap of Fingers" is the author's recollection of the past, feeling that the years have passed and life is like a dream.

"I haven't seen a bullet in ten years" means that ten years ago, the author and Ouyang had a party, but this party turned out to be forever, and the teacher died the following year. "Dragon and snake fly up the wall" means that although Ou Gong has long since passed away, his handwriting is still engraved on the wall of Pingshan Hall, including his words, "It's wrong to say goodbye to Liu Zhongyuan and defend Weiyang": "Pingshan fence leans against the clear sky, and there are both mountains and mountains. There are willows planted in front of the hall, so there are several spring breeze. My favorite article is written by the governor. It is a long text. Let's have a drink. Eat, drink and be merry, young and looking forward to decline. " Looking at the grass left by Ou Gong in the wall, I only feel that dragons and snakes are flying, which makes people make great efforts. This sentence is based on scenery, seeing things and thinking about people, which makes people deeply touched by the impermanence of life.

The next paragraph was written and sung in Europe, giving birth to feelings and expressing feelings of memory. "Want to Hang" and "Still Sing" both use the original sentences of European words, which not only reproduces the state of self-appreciation of the European public, but also shows that the European public has planted willows and the poems remain in the world, which is a comfort. The author thinks of some deeds of Ouyang En from seeing things and thinking about people in Pingshan Hall, and feels his kindness. From his own bumpy experience, he thought of some experiences of his teacher. Therefore, when he paid tribute to the deceased, witnessed the "Ou Gong Liu" planted by his teacher in front of Pingshan Hall, and heard the singer singing the word Ou, he naturally felt a lot. Bai Juyi said, "After a hundred years, everything will go up in smoke." Su Shi has a deeper understanding of this: "It is a dream to say that everything is empty, and it is also a dream to turn your head." Ou Gong is dead, of course, everything is empty, and people living in the world are not dreaming, but everything is empty after all. Don't speak out of turn about Dongpo's negativity. Perhaps it is with this in mind that he can calmly face endless political blows: since life is just an illusion, what is political frustration and frustration? Therefore, Chen Tingzhuo's "White Jade Zhai Thorn" has six clouds: "'Talk about everything. When I didn't turn my head, I dreamed that I chased the first floor and woke up a lot of idiots. "

Su Shi was deeply influenced by Buddhist thought and used to look at things with the Buddhist concept of color space. Bai Juyi said in his poem, "After a hundred years, everything turned empty." Su Shi further realized that "everything turns empty without saying anything, and if it doesn't turn, it will be a dream." This sense of emptiness, remorse and indifference to the whole life, this sense of life accident with some meditation, is deeply buried in it is some kind of idea of being born that requires complete liberation. This unique attitude towards life conveyed by Su Ci is the key to interpret his works.
