Poetry: Lecture Hall in Tang Dynasty

Poets in the Song Dynasty spoke highly of the achievements of poetry in previous dynasties, that is, the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties were similar. We can see that Wang Anshi, one of the three great poets in the Northern Song Dynasty, once said that "the best words in the world will be exhausted by Lao Du", and Lao Du is Du Fu, that is, Du Fu wrote the best sentences in the world. He added that "the lingua franca of the world" is a popular good sentence, "which has been exhausted by Lotte". Lotte is a good poem considered elegant by Bai Letian, Bai Juyi and Wang Anshi. Beautiful sentences are all written by Du Fu, and popular good poems are all written by Bai Juyi. As a great poet, Wang Anshi has a feeling that the poets in the Tang Dynasty are so powerful that he wrote almost all the good sentences. There was an ethos of advocating poetry from top to bottom in Tang society and even the whole society. In such an atmosphere, of course, many people, everyone comes to write poems, and talented people use their talents in poetry creation, so we say that Tang poetry will be good if it is not good.
