Original text (selected):
Although I am not good at this, I am willing to follow Peng Xian's legacy. Take a long breath to hide your tears and mourn the hardships of people's lives. Although I am good at trimming my hair, I am embarrassed by it and I am eager to change it. This is both a pity for Yu and a petition for it. For the ideal cherished in my heart, I will not regret it a thousand times.
Translation:
Although I am out of place with people now, I am willing to follow Peng Xian's legacy. I wiped my tears and sighed, how difficult the road of poor life is.
Although I like to clean up and be strict with myself, I can be downgraded sooner or later. They impeached me to wear grass, and they accused me of picking angelica dahurica
This is what I pursue in my heart, and I won't regret it even if I die many times.

Creative background:
Regarding the creation date of Li Sao, Sima Qian said in the preface to Historical Records Taishi Gong: "Qu Yuan was demoted and wrote Li Sao." Accordingly, it is regarded as after Qu Yuan's exile. Up to now, people have different opinions about this, some say that Qu Yuan did it after being alienated, or Qu Yuan did it after being exiled in Chu, some say that it was written in the late and early days, some say that it originated, and sometimes it came into being, so far it is inconclusive.
