York was born in the tenth year of Xichun in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 183), and his father was Yue Lin, the third son of Yue Fei. When Yue Fei was killed, Yue Lin was only 12 years old and was exiled to the south with his mother. Twenty years later, Yue Fei's grievance was rehabilitated, and Yue Lin got the official position. 1 178, Yue Lin was summoned by Song Xiaozong. He asked the emperor to return Song Gaozong's imperial edict to Yue Fei and got Song Xiaozong's permission. It turns out that Yue Lin has been hoping to sort out information about his father.
After Yue Fei's death, Qin Gui and his henchmen destroyed the information about Yue Fei, and openly tampered with history, which led to many sayings circulating in the society. Yue Lin is bent on clearing his father's name, so he has been collecting information. However, Yue Lin failed to realize his wish and died in 1 192. Before he died, Yue Lin took York's hand and said, "If I can die according to my father's wishes, I will die with my eyes closed!" York inherited his father's ambition and finally realized Yue Lin's wish.
Second, the right of seizure.
Although Yue Fei is a military commander, all his descendants, except, have changed from Wu to Wen. York studied from an early age. After his father died, his mother personally taught him to study. 1 198, I came to Hongzhou, took the Cao test in Jiangxi (equivalent to the later provincial examination), and passed it. Since then, York has participated in three provincial examinations, but all failed in Sun Shan. However, this did not affect York's career. 1203 began to be an official and served as the supervisor of Zhenjiang government.
York's initial career promotion was relatively slow, and it was not until 12 19 that it got a breakthrough, and its level continued to improve. As the assistant minister of the household department, York has been in charge of the money and grain of the Huaidong Army in the east of Zhejiang Province, and has been in charge of Zhenjiang government affairs for three times, and has also been awarded the title of the founding father of Tongcheng County. However, there is one person related to his success, that is, the history of powerful ministers and traitors in the Southern Song Dynasty. At that time, a man named Zhang wrote a letter about the history of impeachment, saying that his henchmen were "full of foxes and rats", among which there were.
The third is to collect taxes and levies.
On the fifteenth day of the first month of the sixth year (1233), he was impeached by student Han for writing poems. However, the case dragged on for a long time, and it was not until the end of this year that York was dismissed. This matter is probably related, because he died in October this year and lost his patron. Five years later, York was reopened with the third rank, but he was repeatedly impeached for "extorting money from others".
Fu Yuan, a famous minister in the Southern Song Dynasty, had great respect for Yue Fei, but he was very dissatisfied with the administration of York. He impeached and said, "Twenty years' common salary, the forest burned down, and Ke actually made up for it from the outside." 124 1 year, Xu Luqing, an upright official in the Southern Song Dynasty, impeached York, saying that it was "making tea and salt, making profits by self-deception, cross-levying, poor business travel, and reversing the beginning of the national plan" and "setting up corrupt officials, blaming the people and having no money". On the occasion of "the centenary of Yue Fei's murder", York was dismissed and never became an official again. He died two years later at the age of 6 1.
