"There is no doubt about learning, and progress can only be made if there is doubt." This is what Lu Jiuyuan, a philosopher in the Southern Song Dynasty, said to Old Master Q Q.
Lu Jiuyuan (1 139 March 26th-1 193 October 18), born in Jinxi, Fuzhou (now Jinxi County, Jiangxi Province), was a philosopher, official and representative of Lu School in the Southern Song Dynasty. Because the study was named "Cun", the world called Mr. Cun Zhai. Because he gives lectures at Xiangshan Academy, he is also known as "Mr. Xiangshan" and scholars often call him "Lu Xiangshan".
Lu Jiuyuan, the founder of "Mind Learning" in Song and Ming Dynasties, is as famous as Zhu, but they have different views. The Lord said that "the mind (I) is the principle", that "the universe is my heart, and my heart is the universe", and that "after learning, I will know that the Six Classics are all my footnotes". In the Ming Dynasty, Wang Shouren inherited and developed his scholarship and formed the "Lu Wang School", which had a great influence on later generations.
