Content abstract: aquatic sister-in-law found her husband joined the army and said goodbye to her husband. She and several young women went to Mazhuang to visit her husband, but they met an enemy ship on their way home. They hid in Lianhua Lake and inadvertently led the enemy into the ambush circle, creating conditions for guerrillas to ambush the enemy. Since then, they have grown rapidly and become anti-Japanese guerrilla fighters.
Lotus Lake is one of Sun Li's representative works, which is selected from Sun Li's collection of novels and essays, Baiyangdian Chronicle.

Creation background
Lotus Lake, written on 1945, tells the story of the people's struggle in the last stage of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. 1938 After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Sun Li resolutely joined the Anti-Japanese War and worked in the mountainous area west of Pinghan Road. He listened to two battle stories told by his comrades in the Central Hebei Plain. One was the story of a young man in Baiyangdian who formed a Yanling team.
