However, at present, due to the shortage of Guqin teachers and the serious imbalance between supply and demand, many people with little music teaching level and literacy have squeezed into Guqin teaching, which has led to the proliferation of fake and shoddy Guqin teaching, making it difficult for many Guqin lovers to enter the door after years of hard training. Some people spend a lot of time and money, but the piano art has been hovering at a low level, and even finally chose. What is ultimately hurt is the development of Guqin art.
Therefore, finding a teacher should be the first question for beginners of Guqin. So what kind of Guqin teacher is qualified, and how should beginners judge? The author combines his own experience of learning the piano to talk to you. Of course, this is a family statement and is for reference only.
Han Yu, a great writer in the Tang Dynasty, said in Teacher's Commentary: A teacher preaches, teaches and dispels doubts. According to this sentence, we can draw three functions of teachers. One is preaching, which is embodied in guqin, that is, teaching the cultural context and ideas behind guqin. The second is teaching, that is, teaching specific skills and teaching the playing method of guqin on guqin. The third is to dispel doubts, solve all doubts and learning obstacles of students, and inspire students to think about the skills they have learned.
To achieve the above three functions, as a Guqin teacher, you should have the following abilities:
First, have a certain theoretical level and cultural accomplishment, including the theory of piano and music, and it is best to have a certain traditional cultural foundation.
Second, a certain level of technical analysis and synthesis. Be able to analyze, refine, summarize and sort out the repertoire, techniques and fingering taught, and then teach them to students.
Third, there is a certain ability to demonstrate music performances. In actual teaching, although some students are good at speaking, more students need teachers to demonstrate in person to learn it slowly, so it is difficult for teachers without demonstration ability to teach Guqin well.
The fourth is the ability to find and solve problems. In teaching, teachers will encounter all kinds of problems, and different students will ask all kinds of questions, which need teachers to answer and solve in time.
Fifth, teachers need to have certain language expression and communication skills. Teaching is an art, an art of communication, or an art of speaking, and language has become a bridge between teachers and students. If a teacher is good in all aspects, but can't express some methods clearly and completely for students to understand, it is difficult for such a teacher to become a qualified teacher. Finally, teachers need to be patient and know a little about psychology in order to better achieve the perfection of teaching.
Based on the above points, we can draw a conclusion that teaching and performance are two different fields. As a qualified Guqin teacher, he is not only good at playing the piano, but also needs comprehensive literacy and broad humanistic vision to be competent. In my previous study, my biggest impression on my teacher was that he was good at inspiring you with various metaphors, making you understand that these metaphors involved literature, history, art, drama, religion, aesthetics, piano, law and so on.
