Who said the parents in the world are pitiful? Is it an ancient poem?

"Pity the hearts of parents in the world" comes from Cixi.

When Cixi’s mother had her seventieth birthday, Cixi didn’t have time to attend her mother’s birthday, so she asked her courtiers to give her mother a lot of things. At the same time, she wrote a piece of calligraphy in her own hand, framed it and sent it to her. , this calligraphy has been preserved for several generations, and was finally destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. That is a poem written by Cixi to her mother:

The love between parents is the truest in the world,

The tears and blood melt into the bodies of their children.

After working so hard to give birth to a son,

Poor parents in the world!

According to research, the statement "poor parents in the world" was not made by Cixi and is untrue.

Original text: "Weng Tonghe's Diary" August 17, the 9th year of Tongzhi's reign: "Yesterday, the mother and wife of Zhaogong (Zhaoxiang's younger brother, Cixi) went to the funeral. There was an unprecedented number of people painting carts and cuds. It's almost crazy to go out to visit Qingcheng...Li Shilang (Military Minister Li Hongzao) didn't go, which was quite disobedient." Cixi's mother, Fucha, was born in the 12th year of Jiaqing (1807) and died in the 9th year of Tongzhi (1870). , according to traditional Chinese calculations, he was sixty-four years old. It can be inferred from this that Cixi's mother Fucha was 64 years old when she died, so it was impossible for her to live past her 70th birthday.

However, Zhaoxiang and Cixi had the same father, but were not born from the same mother. The mother-in-law mentioned in Weng Tonghe's diary is not Cixi's mother. Cixi's mother was the Fucha family, the daughter of Huixian, the deputy governor of Guihua City, and the wife of Huizheng, Taiguang Road, Ningchi, Anhui. She was born in the twelfth year of Jiaqing (1807). According to Na Genzheng, a descendant of Cixi, Cixi's mother Fucha lived to be eighty-six years old.
