September 3, 2015, is China's second statutory "Victory Day of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression" and the first Victory Day of the Anti-Japanese War to be decided as a holiday.
To solemnly commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the State Council issued a special event notice in March 2015.
