What is a dongbulaqin?

Dongbula Kazakh plucked musical instrument. The wooden sound box is flat or ladle-shaped, with a slender handle, eight or ten levels embedded on it, two strings, and four or five degrees of playing harmony. The basic style of play is hitting and picking. Generally, playing is used for remake, and picking is used for filming.

Dongbula is the favorite art form of Kazak people. The singer plays and sings by herself. People call the singer who sings impromptu lyrics "Akon", which means "bard". Tunes are divided into singing and rap, and the rhythm is mostly mixed.

In addition, the ancient music in many places in China is not a simple instrumental solo or ensemble, but an art form that combines singing, dancing and instrumental performance (solo and ensemble), such as Nanguan in Fujian, Muqam in Xinjiang, and even drum music spread all over the country, and some people sing.

Like guqin music, there is music combined with singing, which is called Qin Ge. This form of performance originated from pre-Qin poems, songs and dances is one of the most important artistic features of China's music.
