Temple legend of Zhonghua Temple

According to legend, after the Tang Dynasty won the world, it sought Long Mai. One day, Prime Minister Kevin·Z observed the celestial phenomena at night and saw a Long Mai in the northeast, so he went to see it himself. He found that the mountain called Lingshan was like a dragon, and there was a big river under the tap. There is an old saying: "The wind will disperse and the boundary water will stop." The dragon is close to the water and gradually becomes a climate. It is said that the dragon will take off in the middle of the river, threatening the Tang Dynasty. Therefore, Wei Zhi's special envoy Weichi Gong led the troops to build a temple on the dragon's head, named Lingshan Temple, and dug a ditch on the dragon's back, named Duanlonggou, to contain it. According to historical records, Lingshan Long Mai is the earliest treasure house of Feng Shui in Shenyang. It echoes Shenyang's reputation as the birthplace of two generations of emperors. Therefore, there is an old legend circulating around Zhonghua Temple: Shenyang is the capital of emperors, and Lingshan Zhonghua Temple is the source of emperors. All believers who come to Zhonghua Temple can get what they want.

When Lingshan Temple was passed down to the fourth generation, Master Hai Shun, a monk in the temple, kept two giant pythons, of which the female python had a Chinese character in the middle of her forehead and the male python had a Chinese character in the middle, so they were called "Chinese pythons" and "Chinese pythons". Later, "China people" two pythons became immortals and became temple protectors.

In the early Qing Dynasty, Lingshan Temple was changed to Zhonghua Temple according to the merits of "Zhonghua" two pythons.
