The golden breeze blows coolly, the sky is high and the clouds are clear. In this season of fragrant flowers and fruits, with an extremely light mood, I welcome the first Mid-Autumn Festival that I have been looking forward to since I was in middle school. ; It’s the 63rd birthday of our motherland, but I’m always thinking, how will I celebrate this double festival?
On this day, I got up early and ran to my grandma’s house impatiently.
Many guests came to grandma’s house. Uncles, aunts, aunts, cousins, cousins... Some of them were watching TV, some were chatting, and some were eating fruits. The house is as lively as the Chinese New Year! I squeezed into the room in the "huge crowd". No one seemed to notice that I was a little kid, and they continued to do what they were supposed to do. I was like a little flying insect walking through the crowd, busy looking for a place that suited me.
At noon, our family went to a restaurant for a reunion dinner with four people at a table and six people in a group. Everyone happily tasted the delicious food.
Time flies so fast, and it’s night in a blink of an eye. I invite my friends to watch the moon. We came to Phoenix Square and sat down. Looking at the bright full moon in the sky, we couldn't help but recite a poem "Gu Lang Yue Xing" by the great poet Li Bai of the Tang Dynasty: "When I was young, I didn't know the moon, and I called it a white jade plate. ...". Yes, the moon hangs in the sky like a big jade plate shining with golden light, and it also looks like a cute baby face. At this time, I took a closer look and found a big tree on the moon, next to the Jade Rabbit and Chang'e. I imagined how great it would be if the Jade Rabbit was willing to put down its tail and pull me up to the Moon Palace! I sat there transfixed. "It's time to go home!" My friend's words brought me back to my senses. I turned back step by step and said goodbye to the moon reluctantly. But I also discovered that wherever I go, the moon follows me. Could it be that Sister Chang'e also likes me as a little girl?
When I got home, my father set up an Eight Immortals table with moon cakes and fruits on it. I asked in confusion: "This is...?" Dad said without hesitation: "Let's worship and appreciate the moon together!" "Oh, I understand." I replied happily.
At about half past nine, my father took out a bunch of firecrackers and lit them. "Crack, crackle! This quiet night became lively again, and the joy of the festival was overflowing on everyone's face.
