"Revisiting the Sanxiang Title and Leaving a Gift"
The ancient characters on the wall have not been extinguished, and the sound is endless.
The essence of Hui is like clouds, and the heart of pine trees should withstand snow.
Standing away from the deep valley, I look leisurely at Ouyue.
There is no such thing as a city collapse when a woman cries for her husband.
After seeing the two translations below, I think they are not very accurate.
1 (Like) Lobster grass is "pure, fragrant and beautiful", originally flying like auspicious clouds; (like) the character of a pine tree, it should withstand wind, rain, frost and snow, (stand unyielding).
2 A woman’s noble character should be as holy as white clouds, and her steadfast moral integrity should be able to withstand blows.
It can be seen from the title that the poet wrote this poem after seeing an article written by someone in Sanxiang (name of place) for the second time and was impressed by it, and left it to the author of the article. This poem praises that person and expresses his awe and praise. From this we can know that the second sentence is: The author of the article written on the wall has a pure and arrogant quality like a cloud, and a tenacious and unyielding temperament like a pine tree. (What he is saying is that he insisted on the fact that when Qi Fu cried for her husband, the city wall did not collapse, not as people said.
