Summer has come quietly, and it is another season when loofah is ripe! When I was a child, there was a pond in front of my hometown. In early spring, my mother will plant some loofah seeds by the pond. There is a lot of rain in spring, and the seeds germinate quickly. When they grow to three or four leaves, mother puts a shelf with wood, bamboo poles and hemp rope and inserts some fine bamboo.
So the loofah can climb up the shelf along the bamboo pole.
