The climate in the basin belongs to subtropical mild and humid climate zone, which has obvious continental monsoon climate characteristics. The climate is mild, warm in winter and cool in summer, with four distinct seasons, water and heat in the same season, long frost-free period and less sunshine. With the different altitude and landform types, the climate difference is obvious. The annual average temperature is 14.9℃, with abundant rainfall. The annual average rainfall is 1 14 1.3mm, with the summer rainfall accounting for 4 1.2% and the winter rainfall accounting for at least 6. 1%. The sunshine condition is poor, which is one of the areas with less sunshine in China, with an average annual sunshine number of 650. The basin is rich in tea resources and is the largest tea planting and producing county in Guizhou Province.
