Buddha said in the thirty-first article of the Diamond Sutra: Bodhi. If people talk. The Buddha said, I see people, all living beings, and those who live long. Sublime. What is the meaning? Do you understand what I said? No, not really. Buddha. People don't understand what the Tathagata says. Why? The Buddha said that I see people, all living beings and those who live long. That is, it is not for me to see people and all beings to see longevity. It's a name. I see people, all beings, and those who live long. Sublime. A person who has a heart of three virtues and three bodhis. In all laws. I should know that. See you then. If so, the solution. No birth method. Sublime. The speaker of the law. Such as Tathagata. The illegal phase. It's a name method.
see not see
beard bodhi. If people talk. The Buddha said, I see people, all living beings, and those who live long. Sublime. What is the meaning? Do you understand what I said?
At this point, Buddha should first ask Xu Bodhi. If someone says, what Buddha said, people see, I see, all beings see, and those who live long see, right? Buddhist scriptures all talk about four phases, and here we turn in another direction, proposing not "phases" but "seeing". "Phase" is a phenomenon. Seeing is one's own thought and opinion, and it belongs to the spiritual field. The so-called opinions, that is, the so-called views of new ideas now, all belong to opinions. Therefore, the enlightenment of Zen Buddhism is called seeing the ground. You should see the Tao, not seeing it with your eyes! There are four words in the Shurangama Sutra about seeing the Tao: "When seeing, seeing is not seeing. Seeing is still far from seeing, and seeing is beyond reach. "Look at this Buddhist scripture, what do you see? The first to see, what our eyes see, our hearts and eyes see. The second is to see the Tao, in other words, the first is what you see, and the second is what you can see. We see things with our eyes, this is what we see, this is a phenomenon. Looking back on what I have seen, I can see the Tao, and I can see the nature clearly, not what I see, not that my eyes can see a phenomenon or a realm, which is not Tao! Therefore, "when you see it," you turn around and see what you see, and when you see it clearly, "seeing is not seeing." This seeing, seeing the Tao, is not what the eyes see, so it is said that "seeing is not seeing." So can you see the Tao, is there still a realm? Seeing is still parting from seeing. When my eyes don't look, my ears don't listen, and everything is empty, I say that I have seen the Tao, and one has seen it, but I still have to take it off, and I still have to take it off, and the space will be empty. "Seeing can't be achieved", the real understanding of nature is not what the eyes see, nor what the mind can reach and see. A lot of opinions, how difficult it is to understand! Tell us that seeing the nature with a clear mind is not looking at the mountains or the water, but the frog jumps into the water with a thud ... If you want to see everything, all the mountains and rivers and the universe are shattered in vain, and the earth is flat, then you can talk about Zen, and seeing the nature with a clear mind is a bit shadowy. Remember! It's just a shadow! There are also a few very important words in the Shurangama Sutra: "If you know what you see, you will know, that is, you will have no knowledge, and if you know what you see, you will be nirvana. "Knowing and seeing" was later a proper name of Buddhism. Knowing is knowing, knowing all the Buddhist scriptures. See, have seen this phenomenon, realm, is to know. I see. When you go to practice meditation, everything is empty when you sit up, but you are intellectual and know that you are sitting there very quietly. But it is not right to have a purity. "Knowing what you see and knowing what you know, that is, having no knowledge" is the root of ignorance. If there is purity, there will be an impure power hidden in it, and there will be the power of trouble, so if you know what you know, you will have no knowledge. If you want to "see without seeing" and finally see emptiness, "Si is nirvana", you can reach the edge of seeing.
If you know, you won't know.
Once upon a time, there were several exorcist who followed the path of Zen after reading the classics, and then they realized the Tao. Therefore, learning Zen is not necessarily meditation and meditation, and it is not necessary to meditate and participate in the case. In the Song Dynasty, there was a Zen master in Ruilu Temple in Wenzhou who read Buddhist scriptures and recited Buddha every day. When he saw the previous paragraph, he suddenly had a whim and put the original sentence "know and know." That is, there is no clear book. See what you know, see what you don't see Si is nirvana. "Changed punctuation, become" know and see. Knowing is not knowing. Know and see. See, nirvana. "I thus realized. Later, he claimed to "break the shurangama", and after reading it in a different way, he suddenly became enlightened, fully realized, and saw his heart clearly. "Knowing and standing", knowing and seeing, having a purity and awareness, and "knowing means having no knowledge", this knowledge itself is having no knowledge, which is trouble. "Knowing nothing", everything is empty, reason is empty, reading is empty, and "seeing Si is nirvana". Seeing this is enlightenment. This is when he realized the Tao, explained the sentence by himself, and understood it. Now we have explained this truth, and we have been talking for a long time. Don't turn the conversation around and say that I see, people see, all beings see, and those who live long see; There are four phases in front of the Diamond Sutra, I phase, human phase, all sentient beings phase and longevity phase, and they are also mentioned in the middle. Seeing me with color and begging me with sound is a Jaken, and you can't see the Tathagata. When I got here, I suddenly turned around and asked for "seeing" instead of asking for a picture. Phase is phase, teacups are phenomena, towels are phenomena, books are phenomena, I am also a phenomenon, he is also a phenomenon, you are also a phenomenon, all houses in the mountains and rivers are phenomena, even vanity is also a phenomenon, cleanliness is also a phenomenon, sleeping is also a phase, dreaming is also a phase, waking is also a phenomenon, and all phenomena are birth and death changes. So some people meditate every day and ask him how he is. OK! It's so quiet Take a photo! With a clean face. Phase is not Tao, and Tao is not in phase. If you know how to stand, you will have no knowledge, and if you know what you have, you will have nirvana. You should establish a pure Tao, plus the Du meridian on your back is open, and the Ren meridian in front is open. When you turn on the tap and pour it in, it is all open. That's not a Tao, it's all a phase. A photograph, knowing and standing, knowing that there is no Ming Ben; If you want to know what is not, you will see Nirvana. So now, what is your opinion? He told Xu Bodhi that if someone said, I propose that I see, people see, all beings see, and those who live long live see, what do you say, does that person understand what I mean? He is a real Buddhist. Do you understand Buddhism?
no. Buddha. People don't understand what the Tathagata says.
Xu Bodhi said that's not right. Although this person studies Buddhism, he doesn't know anything at all, and he doesn't understand the truth of Buddhism.
why. Buddha. Say that I see people, all beings, and those who live long. That is, it is not for me to see people and all beings to see longevity. It's a name. I see people, all beings, and those who live long.
Then the Buddha also said, now you ask me a hypothetical question, which is just a convenience in speech. Suppose there is such a point of view, a clear mind and a Taoist view, it is just a way of expression, a name that exposes the true meaning. In fact, ah, Ming, there is no place to be bright; See, there is nowhere to be seen, so it is called I see, people see, all beings see, and those who live long see.
if so, see
beard bodhi. A person who has a heart of three virtues and three bodhis. In all laws. I should know that. See you then. If so, the solution. No birth method.
You should pay attention to the Buddha's final conclusion! Those who really learn the Mahayana Buddhism, develop the three virtues and three bodhis, and want to achieve a thorough understanding should "know" all the laws, including the worldly laws and the worldly laws, and understand the truth of knowing the Diamond Sutra layer by layer. "If you see it," you have to have such an opinion, so you have knowledge and insight. The word "knowing and seeing", plus a description, shows that all Buddhism methods of great and small multiplication, especially Hinayana Buddhism, are five orders: abstinence, determination, wisdom, liberation, liberation and knowing and seeing. Practice in order, observe the precepts first, then practice them, and then develop wisdom and realize the Tao from them. Really enlightened, freed from all sufferings, but the highest degree of liberation is still the bondage of everything in the material world. When all the troubles and emotions of these desires and colors have been relieved, there is still one thing, that is, what the mind knows and sees, which still needs to be relieved and finally completely empty. Just now, if you know what to stand for, you will know that there is no Ming Ben, if you know what to see, you will see Nirvana; It is also said here that if you want to become a Buddha by ordinary people, you should "know so, see so" about all the laws. How do you know? How to meet? The so-called Buddhism, that is, non-Buddhism, is a famous Buddhism; Then the so-called heretics, that is, non-heretics, are heretics; The so-called devil, that is, non-devil, is a devil; The so-called me is not me, but me. That's it! "Everything", summed up as a whole, can't live in the air, can't live in it, can't live in it, can't live in it, so all laws should be known and seen in this way. You have understood and seen this truth. "If you believe in it," if you are rational and clear, you are not superstitious. If the teachings of Buddhism are not clearly understood, it will be superstition for everyone to come to learn Buddhism and meditate emotionally! So make clear what you know, and if it is a letter, it is a true letter. If you understand it, it is rational to understand it in this way after you believe it. Learning Buddhism and practicing Buddhism is rational, not emotional, not blind superstition, but rational.
Our own method
Why do you say "no birth method"? Why don't you say that you don't "use" the method, or you don't "live" the method, you don't "write" the method, and you don't "drop" the method? There is a difference between not using these words and using the "raw" method. First of all, we need to know what is law? All phenomena and ideas are phenomena and a form of ideology. Everyone has his own idea and fantasy in his mind; Fantasy for a long time, become an unbreakable model, and hold it firmly by yourself. This is the form in the ideological realm, which is called practice in Buddhist terms. Law includes everything, everything, everything and all ideas. For example, everyone thinks that all things are bright, and all things are in pure light. In the eyes of ordinary people, the subconscious has already formed a form, and it is thought that when you sit up after realizing the Tao, there is probably a light inside and outside, and even the generator of the power company can be abandoned. Think of light as electric light, sunlight, and moon light, and form a form there subconsciously. For example, after enlightenment, you probably don't want anything, nothing matters, everything doesn't matter, and you go to the ancient temple and sit there alone, thinking that you have become a Buddha. If it becomes such a Buddha, it doesn't matter to us that there are 1 more Buddhas in the world; There are plenty of Buddhas in the mountains, and many stones and mud are there, which can be called Buddhas since the beginning of time. Anyway, they ignore everything, everything that was born into the world. In other words, it is the absolute self, which seems to be very free, and everything is missing. In fact, it is self, just for self! Think I want this, because his subconscious ideology has this method. Most people don't know anything when they meditate. That's not Buddhism. That's your ideology. You created this method. It is even said that all emptiness is Buddha, and emptiness is also a law and a phenomenon. Some people have opened the second pulse of Ren Du, the eighth pulse of Qi Jing, and the turning of the river car, all of which are dharma. I often ask: when will you transfer to the river car? Don't turn your head. When you look around ... there's always a time when you don't turn around, right? When can I turn it until it doesn't turn? The second pulse of Ren Du has been opened. Where can it go? Into the sewer? Or to the power company? Or to the bodhisattva of god? You have to figure it out! However, many of us unconsciously fall into the law of self. Self-consciousness forms a concept of Tao, a appearance of Tao and a model of Tao. From this, we can understand why religions in the world paint different paradise because of different nationalities and countries. Our paradise is for people who wear big robes and look like emperors in ancient times, and all the houses belong to China in ancient times. The paradise of westerners is a house, and his god and god are also high-nosed and blue-eyed; Arabs draw differently. Therefore, heaven is formed according to its own psychological form. Who can prove it? These are all methods that are subconsciously formed by their own psychology. Buddhism and Buddhism only know the Sect, also known as Faxiangzong. Faxiangzong begins to analyze and study from the phenomenon world, which is everything in the world, the so-called all laws; Finally, we studied the psychological state, the nature of mind, and even proved the whole universe. In other words, Faxiangzong analyzed the existing life and the existing world, attributed it to his heart, and then returned to the metaphysical ontology. If we use a famous Buddhist phrase, it starts with our own body and mind, and then breaks the body and mind, which proves to be metaphysical ontology. Different from Fa Xiangzong, Hua Yanzong started from the metaphysical view of the universe, slowly contracted from the vast universe, and finally got to the heart, so that you could know yourself from the ontology. Ordinary Buddhism, you know the noumenon by yourself. These are two different educational methods, which we must make clear. These different routes and methods, the name of Buddhism is called dharma, all dharma. Now that the Diamond Sutra is coming to an end, tell us a truth, a very serious truth. The Buddha told Xu Bodhi that you want to realize the supreme Bodhi and become a Buddha. You should know it like this, you should see it clearly and understand it clearly, you should believe it like this and understand it like this. How to understand it? In a word, don't make a thing in your heart, and don't give birth to a Buddha in your subconscious. Everyone's understanding of Buddha, Tao and the realm of pure nirvana is different. Why is it different? It was created by your mind, born by yourself, and born by this heart. So don't be self-generated, don't look for it again, and don't form a self-conscious concept. For example, in the same class, among the 1 students, everyone has different understanding levels, because each person has his own way of life and constitutes a phenomenon, which is not true. This is what the Buddhist scriptures say, many people blindly touch the elephant and hold their own ends. Although the blind man touches the elephant, he holds one end, but the end he touches is also part of the elephant, and there is nothing wrong with it. It can only be said that each person catches a little, which together is the whole elephant. If we want to fully understand the whole elephant, what the Buddha told us is "no birth method", and nothing can be done. Below, the Buddha overthrew again.
I'm going over there. Come here.
Bodhi. The speaker of the law. Such as Tathagata. The illegal phase. It's a name method.
the dharma mentioned in Buddhist scriptures is not dharma at all, so it is called dharma. This is often said in the Diamond Sutra. Where is the truth? Those are all educational methods. It is equal to a boat crossing the river. The purpose is to make you cross the river. If you have crossed the river, don't carry the boat on your back. You should quickly leave the boat and go your own way. There are 12 Buddhist scriptures, and there are various statements. Sometimes it is empty, sometimes it is there, sometimes it is not empty, and sometimes it is empty. Which is right? That's all wrong. You don't have to be born yourself. Talking about one method includes all kinds of phenomena, for example, only knowing the Sect, in addition to dividing the part of the mind into eight senses, and then summarizing the phenomenon and program of psychological activities in principle to become one hundred methods. If you analyze it in detail, of course, there are more than one hundred; However, most people in later generations study only knowledge, so they can't get in and out. What realm have these people got into? Drill into "being" and drill into all the methods of "winning righteousness and being". Just like the Dragon Tree Bodhisattva said that Prajna takes emptiness as an example, which is different from the education method of knowing only Buddhism, but ordinary people study Prajna and fall into emptiness. Therefore, no law can live, no. Finally, the Buddha told us that the so-called dharma, that is, "illegal phase", is only convenient for speech, opportunity and education, with the aim of making you understand. If he doesn't understand this, he always tries to make us understand in another way. However, later generations, after recording his educational methods, cling to the empty space he said, or try their best to grasp it, and will never know. In fact, the Buddha made it very clear that everything was the same. After the fall of the law, everyone said that the Diamond Sutra was empty, and I was in front.
