Xiang Jiang River
Refers to Xiangjiang River. It is named after the clear and deep Xiangjiang River. Refers to Hunan
Refers to Hunan. Because Xiangjiang River is the most important water system in Hunan Province, and Hunan is also called Xiang for short. Xiaoshui is the largest tributary of Xiangjiang River. The confluence of Xiaoshui and Xiangjiang River (now Lingling District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province) is called Xiaoxiang. Because Yongzhou is also known as Xiaoxiang, it is named Xiaoxiang. In ancient times, Lu You, a poet in the Song Dynasty, praised the beautiful scenery in Xiaoxiang area with the poem "Spend a lot of money, but you can't get to Xiaoxiang", and later referred to the whole of Hunan.
