The bird stayed in the tree by the pool.
The monk knocked at the door.
Origin of censorship:
Jia Dao was a famous poet of Kuyin School in Tang Dynasty. The Kuyin school is for a poem, or a sentence in a poem, and it takes effort and time.
On one occasion, Jia Dao rode a donkey into the official road. He is pondering a poem entitled "Li Ning's Seclusion", which reads:
Isolated, with few neighbors,
The meadow extends to the desert garden.
The bird stayed in the tree by the pool.
The monk knocked at the door.
Bridge color separation,
Move stones and move cloud roots.
Come back here for a while,
You don't keep your word.
But he can't make up his mind on one thing, that is, he thinks that the word "push" in the second sentence of "birds stay in the trees by the pool, and monks push the moon down the door" should be replaced by "knock". But he also thinks that "knocking" is a bit inappropriate, so it is better to "push". I don't know whether to "knock" or "push". I'm thinking and chanting. Unconsciously, I rode a donkey into the honor guard of Han Yu (one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties).
Han Yu asked Jia Dao why he broke into his honor guard. Jia Dao read the poem he wrote to Han Yu, but he couldn't make up his mind whether to say it again with "push" or "knock". Hearing this, Han Yu said to Jia Dao, "I think it's better to knock. Even in the dead of night, knocking at the door when visiting friends shows that you are a polite person! In addition, the word "knock" adds a little more noise in the dead of night. Moreover, it reads louder. " Jia Dao nodded in praise. Not only did he not get punished this time, but he also made friends with Han Yu.
Since then, deliberation has become a popular word, which means to ponder and consider repeatedly when doing an article or a thing.
Attached is a brief introduction of Jia Dao:
Jia Dao (779-843), born in Langxian (also known as Langxian) and Fanyang (now Zhuozhou, Hebei), was a poet of the Tang Dynasty in China. Jia Dao was born in a poor family. He used to be a monk and could not be famous. Jia Dao is a famous poet of "Kuyin School", and his famous allusions are "thoughtful". It is said that he pondered two sentences on the donkey's back, that is, "a bird stays in the tree by the pool, and a monk pushes the moon down the door." He repeatedly considered whether to push or hit, and even mistakenly entered Han Yu's ceremonial ceremony. He later said that these two sentences were "two sentences for three years, one tears." Later, people called it "Deliberating and refining words". Jia Dao has Changjiang Collection 10 volume, recorded more than 370 poems, 3 small collections, and poetry anthology 1 volume. [1] Later, he was taught by Han Yu and took part in the imperial examination, but failed to win the first place. Tang Wenzong was excluded and demoted as the main book of the Yangtze River (now Pengxi County, Sichuan Province). At the beginning of Huichang, Tang Wuzong was transferred from Sicang, Zhou Pu to a family, but he didn't die of illness.
