In real history, did Zhao Kuangyin really kill Meng Changjun because of a woman?

Speaking of which, what a coincidence. Zhao Kuangyin, Meng Chang and Mrs. Hua Rui, these three people are not only emotionally entangled, but also die in an unknown way. How did Meng Chang die? There have been different views in history, and at present they are mainly inclined to suffer from wool.

After the national subjugation, Meng Chang was sent to the capital of song dynasty and died seven days later. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Wang Jian took the opportunity to occupy Chengdu in the Huang Chao Rebellion, calling himself King Shu. Later, Zhu Wen established the back beam, but Wang Jian refused to accept it, and he proclaimed himself emperor in Chengdu, known as Shu in history.

After the back beam destroyed the later Tang Dynasty, Li Fabing destroyed the former Shu and sent Meng Zhixiang to cede our time to govern the middle of Shu. Later, after the civil strife at the end of the Tang Dynasty, Meng Zhixiang took the opportunity to claim the title of Shu, which was still called Houshu in history.

Meng Zhixiang died only 1 14 days after his reign and passed it on to his son Meng Chang.

Meng Changjun, the central plains chaos. First, the later Jin dynasty replaced the later Tang dynasty, the later Han dynasty replaced the later Jin dynasty and the later Zhou dynasty replaced the later Han dynasty. Finally, Zhao Kuangyin usurped the throne and established the Northern Song Dynasty. During this time, everyone is busy with you hitting me, and I hit you. I can't do anything in Shu. So in the thirty-first year of Meng Changjun's reign, there was almost no war in Shu. Meng Changjun also comfortably when the 31-year-old emperor.

Meng Changjun is not bad. After he succeeded to the throne, he cheated Li, Zhang Ye and others and took the affairs of state into his own hands. He was only 15 years old at that time. Militarily, Qin, Cheng and Jie were successively recovered, Fengzhou was captured, and the former Shu territory was completely restored.

Politically, during his reign, Sichuan's economy and culture developed rapidly, and the people of Sichuan lived a peaceful and stable life for more than 30 years. When Meng Changjun was taken away by the Northern Song army, tens of thousands of people in Shu risked their lives to send hundreds of miles along the river, and everyone was in tears. It is said that hundreds of people fainted on the spot.

However, Meng Changjun is definitely not a monarch. He is greedy for small profits and content with the status quo. Although backed by the rich in Shu, he never had the ambition to compete in the Central Plains. More importantly, Meng Chang's life is very luxurious, and he is addicted to wine and color, which is his biggest stain.

Meng Changjun lived a luxurious life, and the basin was full of seven treasures overnight, not to mention the others. However, this is still a pediatrician. Meng Chang is most famous for his harem. There are thousands of beautiful women, among which Mrs. Hua Rui is the most early adopter of Meng.

However, just as Meng Changjun and Mrs. Huarui, the masters of Shu, were giving a banquet to find poems, Zhao Kuangyin had established the Northern Song Dynasty and rearmed its arms to attack Shu. Meng Changjun thinks that the mountains and rivers in the middle of Shu are sinister.

In 962, Song Taizu and Zhao Kuangyin took Wang Quanbin as the general and led 60,000 soldiers to attack Shu. Meng Changjun quickly sent troops to resist. However, Wang Zhaoyuan at the front line was arrogant and did not understand military affairs, while Prince Meng Xuanzhe at the rear abandoned the city and fled. Finally, it took Song Jun only 66 days to defeat the Shu army, and Meng Changjun had to go out of the city and surrender. Thirty-three people, including Meng Chang, Meng Xuanzhe and Mrs. Hua Rui, were taken to the capital of song dynasty.

After Meng Changjun arrived in the capital of song dynasty, he was appointed as a proofreader and secretary-general, and was named the king of Qin. Seven days later, Meng Chang died at the age of 47.

Meng Chang's death is a mystery. There are always different opinions about Meng Chang's death. There are mainly the following statements.

One is Meng Chang crying to death. Because on the way to the capital of song dynasty, people in Shu were crying all the way, and Meng Changjun was moved. With crying, he cried, and he was already very weak before he arrived in the capital of song dynasty. After seeing Zhao Kuangyin, he barely supported for seven days and finally died.

Second, Meng Changjun was so angry. Originally, Meng Changjun's national subjugation made him very sad. At the end of the capital of song dynasty, he was inevitably despised by officials in the northern song dynasty. Meng Chang, who is so successful and always pampered, can't accept it, but he is helpless. He is unhappy and can't sleep at night. After seven days of hard work, he finally got angry.

The third argument, which is also the most popular one, is that Meng Chang was killed by Mao Zhao Kuangyin. However, Zhao Kuangyin was a kind emperor. He chose a glass of wine to release the soldiers instead of killing the heroes. Qian Chu, the king of wuyue who returned to the Song Dynasty, and Li Yu, the queen of the Southern Tang Dynasty who was captured, were treated well in the Zhao Kuangyin era and were killed in the Zhao Guangyi era. Judging from Zhao Kuangyin's attitude towards the emperor, it seems unnecessary to treat Meng Changjun differently.

This statement can spread widely, in fact, because it involves another key person, that is, Mrs. Hua Rui mentioned above. This matter is not recorded in the official history. There are many records in unofficial history, and of course there are many statements.

It is said that when Meng Changjun took Mrs. Huarui to visit Zhao Kuangyin, Zhao Kuangyin was shocked by Mrs. Huarui's beauty and fell in love at first sight, so he moved the idea of killing his wife and taking his wife. Later, impatient Zhao Kuangyin sent someone to secretly kill Meng Changjun, and forcibly invited Mrs. Hua Rui to wait on her in the palace.

At this time, Mrs. Huarui was forced to do it. On the banquet, Zhao Kuangyin asked Mrs. Huarui to make poems, so Mrs. Huarui wrote a well-known poem, "The king lowered the flag on the city, and I learned from the palace; One hundred and forty thousand people were disarmed, and none of them were men. "

After the banquet, Zhao Kuangyin took Mrs. Hua Rui into the harem. However, Mrs. Huarui had deep feelings for the husband and wife and could not forget Meng Chang, so she drew a portrait for Meng Chang in private and prayed secretly. Unexpectedly, it was accidentally smashed, and Mrs. Huarui casually said, "The God who sent the son is well known in Shu." Zhao Kuangyin believed it and didn't pursue it, but Meng Chang was regarded as the "God of sending children" and was enshrined for later generations.

However, I think this statement is far-fetched, not to mention whether Zhao Kuangyin will be fascinated by Mrs. Huarui's beauty. Even so, it will not be the assassination of Meng Chang, causing eternal shame.

Because I think the second statement may be the most reliable.

The cause of Mrs. Hua Rui's death is also unknown. There are about three theories about Mrs. Hua Rui's death, which are briefly described as follows:

First, while traveling with Zhao Kuangyin, he was shot dead by Zhao Guangyi's arrow. Afterwards, Zhao Guangyi said: "If your majesty can win the world, he should respect himself for his country and stay away from wine and color!" He defended his reasons, but Zhao Kuangyin didn't go on. (This statement can also be seen that Zhao Kuangyin didn't pay much attention to Mrs. Huarui. )

Second, when Zhao Kuangyin found out that Mrs. Huarui had sacrificed the portrait of Meng Chang privately, although she was cheated at that time, she later woke up and asked Mrs. Huarui for the portrait. Mrs. Huarui refused to do anything, and Zhao Kuangyin executed Mrs. Huarui in a rage.

Third, after Zhao Kuangyin fell in love with Mrs. Huarui, she left soon, leaving Mrs. Huarui in the cold. Mrs. Hua Rui was ashamed and angry, but she couldn't afford to get sick and died soon.

All the above three statements are from unofficial history, so please judge the credibility by yourself.

To sum up, Zhao Kuangyin would never kill Meng Changjun because of Mrs. Huarui, and Meng Changjun's death was most likely due to the pain of national subjugation, depression and illness, plus the fatigue of the journey, and his body could not stand the toss and turn, and he died seven days after arriving in the capital of song dynasty.
