Why is it called Wan Lun navel orange?

Because it ripens late, it is called LUN Ye. It is said that the origin of "Wan Lun" is related to the technical innovation team of late-maturing citrus. Since 2005, after several years' efforts, the technical innovation team of late-maturing citrus in Hubei Province has carried out many experiments in Zigui experimental base, and continuously selected, optimized and cultivated a new variety of "Wan Lun". Wan Lun's name came from this. Wan Lun navel orange is a late-maturing navel orange variety, which matures in the middle and late March of the following year.

Navel orange is a tree with little or no thorns, with oval or oval leaves, white flowers, a little reddish purple on the back, round, oblate or oval fruit, orange-yellow to orange-red, navel formed by some immature carpels at the top of the fruit, solid or half-full stone, and light yellow, orange-red or purple flesh. Flowering period is from March to May, and fruiting period is 10- 12. Late-maturing varieties will arrive in February-April of the following year.
