Brief Introduction of Zhepai Guqin
Zhejiang School is the oldest folk guqin school in Han nationality. Guqin is the earliest plucked instrument of the Han nationality and the treasure of the traditional culture of the Han nationality. She is cherished by the world for her long history, rich literature, rich connotation and far-reaching influence. The piano playing style of Zhejiang School belongs to wuyue system, with rounded fingering and compact rhythm. The founder is Guo Mian, a famous pianist in the Southern Song Dynasty, whose ancestral home is Yongjia, Zhejiang (now Pingyang, Wenzhou, Yu Delin, Pingyang, Song Dynasty). With his superb artistic attainments, unique piano music experience and urgent concern for the country's peril, he created golden songs handed down from ancient times, such as Xiaoxiang Yunshui, Pan Canglang and Qiu Hong, which also laid the foundation for the formation of Zhejiang piano art.
