Gan Long once traveled to the south of the Yangtze River. Accompanied by Ji Xiaolan, he laughed all the way and didn't feel lonely. He arrived in Jinling smoothly. One day, Qianlong had long heard that there were many teahouses around Confucius Temple, and he wanted to visit the bustling place of Qinhuai incognito, so he called Ji Xiaolan, and they walked slowly along Qinhuai River in casual clothes. Between the streets and lanes, the lights are brightly lit, but the monarch and his subjects don't care about these. Instead, we pay great attention to the facades of many shops along the street, especially the plaques and couplets of shops. As they walked, they commented that Qizan Qinhuai is a place that everyone loves, and the store name and couplets are very artistic.
As we all know, there were three famous teahouses in Jinling at that time, namely Wen Qu, Liu Wen and Jin Wen. The name of "Wen Qu" teahouse comes from Zhu's "Good Clear, Flowing Water at the Source". "Ask Liu" takes words from Du Fu's poem "Ask Liu to find flowers to the new pavilion". "Ask about" is the canon of The Analects of Confucius. These famous sayings have brought a lot of fame to the teahouse. Of course, these teahouses are famous for their elegant environment and thoughtful service.
Unconsciously, they came to the "Liu Wen" teahouse, one of the famous "Three Questions" teahouses in Jiangnan. When the monarch and ministers entered the teahouse, they saw many door couplets lined up at the entrance of the second entrance, such as: guest's eternal enthusiasm; Tea is not cold when people walk. Many wonderful associations have their own flavors.
After Qianlong stopped to watch for a moment, he sat down at the square table, and the waiter brought the teapot and tea lamp with both hands. Then, another waiter brought a big copper hanging pot to make tea. I saw his left hand holding a small teapot in front of Ji Xiaolan, and his thumb flicked upward, and the lid of the teapot was hooked up. His right hand put the hanging spout close to the mouth of the little teapot. As soon as the water column came out, the copper pot was pulled up, and a white rule flew into the pot from a foot high. Seeing the tea in the pot slow to a certain height, the copper hanger suddenly fell and stopped near the spout. At this time, the tea in the teapot is just near the spout. Emperor Ganlong and his subjects were impressed by the waiter's perfect craftsmanship.
The monarch and his subjects talked while drinking tea, and the topic could not be separated from tea and couplets. Gan Long said to Ji Xiaolan, it seems that there is still a lack of good tea couplets. Ji Xiaolan went on to say a pair of ingenious tea couplets: the world is small and the occasion is big, let me sit down; Talk about Xiong Ying, talk about the past and the present, and have a few drinks. After listening to this, Gan Long thought for a while and said, "This couplet is really flat, rigorous and unpretentious. However, how can you just say that other people's couplets are good and you can't come up with good couplets? " Let's have a few games between you and me! Then, Gan Long read: Cao Rui shot and split his tongue; The famous flower picking core solitaire group. Ji Xiaolan boasted, "Good alliance! The finch's tongue and the dragon's ball are very appropriate and fight steadily. In particular, I can't see a word' Xiang', but it makes people feel fragrant and refreshing everywhere. "Ji Xiaolan also followed the example of Qianlong and made a couplet: knowing the taste; I feel particularly cool. Gan Long commented: "Although the couplets are good, it's a pity that it's not midsummer and the season is wrong. Ji Xiaolan looked up at the opposite bar and said with a brainwave, "Teahouses often double as bars, so I collected two poems of the ancients to describe teahouses: Yang Xian, Chun Cha and Yao Cao Bi; Lanling wine tulip. "The first part is a poem by Qian Qi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, and the second part is written by Li Bai, a great poet. Yang Xian tells the origin of tea, a word "Bi" gives people a visual image, Lanling foretells the origin of wine, and a word "Xiang" gives people a sense of smell. After listening to it, Ganlong praised it again and again.
