It's hard to get through the Shu Road, and it's hard to get to the sky. It's that mountain.

Shu Dao refers to the road from Shaanxi, Gansu and other places to Sichuan. Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote a poem "It is difficult to get through the Shu Road, but it is difficult to go to the sky". Jianmen Shu Dao refers to the Shu Dao around Jianmen Pass. Jianmen Pass is close to Guangyuan, so Jianmen Shudao Scenic Spot mainly refers to the scenic spot from Guangyuan to Mianyang via Jianmen Pass and Jiange. If the scope is further expanded, the scenic spots of Jiangyou and Pingwu can also be included.

To visit Jianmen Shudao, Guangyuan can be the starting point. After visiting the scenic spots near Guangyuan, along the highway, visit Jianmenguan, Yunlang, Jiange, Zitong and finally Mianyang.

Guangyuan is the main road of land and water transportation in northeast Sichuan, and has always been an important city to communicate the economy and culture of Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces. Nearby attractions include Huangze Temple, Thousand Buddha Cliffs and the remains of the ancient plank road.

Huangze Temple, formerly known as Wengsi, was built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. Since Wu Zetian was born in Guangyuan in the Tang Dynasty, this temple was renamed Huangze Temple. There are still more than 1000 cliff statues in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Sui, Tang and Song Dynasties.

Located on the east bank of Jialing River, 4 kilometers away from the urban area, Qianfo Cliff is one of the famous karst caves in China. The stone carvings extend more than 200 meters from north to south, with more than 400 existing niches and more than 7,000 statues, which are quite imposing in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. There used to be a statue of 17000 on the Thousand Buddha Cliff. Unfortunately, most of it was bombed when 1935 was repairing the Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway. Otherwise, the reputation of the Thousand Buddha Cliff will be even greater. Even so, the remaining grotto statues are still wonderful. Jianmenguan is 45 kilometers south of Guangyuan. The mountains here stretch from east to west 100 kilometers, with 72 peaks rising and falling, towering into the sky, steep walls broken and two mountains like doors. The situation is dangerous, so it is named after it. It's easier to defend here than to attack. During the Three Kingdoms period, Jiang Wei, the general of Shu, held this pass, and the division of 100,000 elite generals of Wei was blocked from the sword gate. There are still monuments of "the first pass in the world" and "the first pass in the world" between the pass rock walls. People here can still overlook the majestic momentum of Jiange 72 Peak and imagine the preciseness of that pass.

Cui Yun Gallery near Jianliuguan is one of the most distinctive scenic spots in Jianmen Shudao, which is called "the wonders of Shudao". From Jianmenguan to Jiange County, dozens of kilometers on both sides, the tall and straight cypresses are continuous and lush, so it is called this name.

Jiange is facing south, crossing Zitong to Mianyang. There are many places of interest in Zitong, mainly Wenchang Palace, so the palace is built on Qiqu Mountain, so it is also called Qiqu Mountain Temple. There are more than 40,000 cypress trees on the mountain, and the large-scale Wenchang Palace is hidden in the ancient Berlin.

Mianyang is only100km away from Chengdu. In the Three Kingdoms, Liu Zhang met Liu Bei when he entered Shu. The main scenic spots in Mianyang are Han Pingyang Mansion Group Que and Xishan Mountain.

Jiangyou County, Mianyang area has a Dou Fangshan, which is very distinctive. The three peaks of this mountain are about 100 meters high, with a distance of 30 to 40 meters. At the top of the three peaks are Dongyue Temple, Douzhen Hall and Luban Hall. Of the three peaks, only Dongyue Temple Peak has an ancient road to climb, and the other two peaks have no road to climb. They are all connected by iron cables. If you want to go to the top there, you have to "fly" carefully, with an iron rope above and an iron rope below.
