1959, China's first offshore seismic team was established in Qingdao, and began to carry out seismic, gravity and electromagnetic surveys in the Bohai Sea. 1960, China used barges to install percussion drills, and drilled two 26-meter-deep wells in the shallow water area of Shuidaokou, Haiyan Oilfield, Ying Ge, Hainan, and obtained 150 kg heavy crude oil for the first time. 1964, an onshore drilling rig was installed on the floating box cushion platform, and three wells were drilled in the water depth of15m along the coast of Ying Ge, with the depth of 388m, and crude oil10kg was obtained.
1966 China built the first steel jacket pile foundation platform in China in Bohai Sea. 1967 June successfully drilled the first offshore oil well with an industrial oil flow depth of 244 1 m, and the oil test results showed that the daily crude oil production was 35.2 tons, and the natural gas production was1941m.
197 1 year, Hayes oilfield was discovered in Bohai Sea, and two platforms were established successively, with an annual peak oil production of 86,900 tons and a cumulative oil production of 603,000 tons. This is the first offshore oil field in China.
