-Appreciation of Su Shi's Dragon Boat Festival Poems
Wang chuanxue
The Dragon Boat Festival on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month was originally a festival to drive away the summer plague. Later, Qu Yuan, a Chu poet, threw himself into the Miluo River on the fifth day of May, which became a festival to commemorate Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan was praised as a model by later generations for his unswerving patriotic feelings, caring for the country and the people, being honest and clean, and his magnificent poem "Noble words, excellent life". Since ancient times, many people with lofty ideals have written poems and songs in memory of Qu Yuan, reciting the grand occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival, so that future generations can fully feel the unique charm of the Dragon Boat Festival. Su Shi, a writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, wrote many poems about the Dragon Boat Festival and in memory of Qu Yuan.
Look at Su Shi's Qu Yuan Tower first:
Chu people's sorrow for Qu Yuan has never stopped for thousands of years.
Where the soul floats, my father suffocates.
Today, on the Cangjiang River, I have put rice to quench my thirst.
Heritage becomes a race, lamenting the cracks in Chushan.
Qu Yuan, a strong man in ancient times, had a strong desire to die.
When secular Ann learned about it, she made a decision as soon as possible.
Nanbin used to belong to the State of Chu, and there is a pagoda on the mountain.
It should be a Buddhist, lest the son perish.
Although there is no basis for this matter, the meaning has been cut.
Immortal ancients, why compare exams.
Fame is endless, and wealth is also a temporary fever.
The doctor knew this, so he insisted on dying.
Note: In Zhongzhou, there shouldn't be a tower here, but later generations will remember it.
Su Shi, like Qu Yuan, experienced relegation and spent most of his life in an inappropriate mood. However, in the fourth year of writing this poem (1059), Su Shi was still an energetic young scholar, and just became a scholar two years ago, at the age of 2 1. This winter, Su Shi entered Beijing with his father, passing through Nanbin County of Zhongzhou (now Fengdu, Sichuan). When he saw a pagoda of Qu Yuan that had nothing to do with Qu Yuan, he was greatly surprised and wrote this five-character ancient poem.
The whole poem is divided into three paragraphs: the first eight sentences describe the relationship between the custom of throwing zongzi and dragon boat racing on the Dragon Boat Festival and Qu Yuan, the last eight sentences speculate on the origin of Qu Yuan Tower, and the last eight sentences praise Qu Yuan for pursuing ideals and integrity without seeking wealth.
The poem begins with Chu people's mourning for Qu Yuan, which has never stopped for thousands of years, indicating that Qu Yuan's patriotic spirit has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. They throw zongzi and race dragon boats to commemorate Qu Yuan, express their grief and pursue a spiritual sustenance and cultural heritage.
Compared with the folk customs in Chu, what impressed Su Shi more was Qu Yuan's spiritual character, which was deeply rooted in people's hearts. Therefore, he did not start his works with documentary narration, but traced his spiritual history. Throwing rice and running races are not entertaining and lively folk scenes, but real sacrifice and memorial ceremonies, accompanied by strong emotional activities such as "sadness", "choking" and "wailing". The poet repeatedly used contrasting brushwork to strengthen the discussion. For example, Qu Yuan's determination to die is indisputable, such as the lack of evidence and the enthusiasm of human feelings, the shortness of wealth and the endless fame, the immortality of the world and Qu Yuan, and finally, "the doctor knows this, so he insists on dying." Qu Yuan's great ambition and infinite admiration for him are self-evident. In a sense, this poem is like a prophecy, announcing the poet's future ambition and his choice of life path. Later, Su Shi persisted in his political opinions and life ideals all his life, never compromised in adversity, maintained an optimistic and open-minded attitude towards life, and was always full of hope for the future.
Look at Su Shi s Liu Yao Tian Ling Intermediary again;
The tiger symbol is wrapped around the arm, and the festival is also the Dragon Boat Festival. The door is green, the sky is pale and kites are flying. Zongyexiang flies ten miles, bringing joy to wine. Dragon boat race, cheering and shouting, paying tribute to the river and reciting the gift of the monarch. Sighing in a daze, Qin swallowed Chu. What do strangers know about crying and lewdness? In the morning and evening, the new pavilion shed tears, and the tears were exhausted. Miluo Zhu Jiang and Xiang Lei have passed away, but there are thousands of heartbroken sentences.
"Mid-Day Festival" is another name for the Dragon Boat Festival.
Su Shi's life was bumpy, ups and downs, and finally he died in a foreign land, which is somewhat similar to Qu Yuan.
The first part of this word is about the folk activities of the Dragon Boat Festival, and the second part is about the life story of Xiang Lei. It is profound, unique and amazing.
The first film, Narrating the Present, depicts the folk customs and activities of the Dragon Boat Festival. "The tiger symbol wraps around the arm, and the Dragon Boat Festival is also celebrated." People think that May is an "evil month" and a "poisonous month". Plague is prevalent and poisonous insects breed. Therefore, various methods should be taken to ward off evil spirits and detoxify. In the old days, people made little tigers out of silk and silk and sewed them on children's arms, thinking that they could ward off evil spirits and eliminate disasters. In May, when the tiger symbol wrapped his arms, the Dragon Boat Festival was ushered in. "Ai Puqing in front of the door, flying kites in the sky", a folk custom, hangs green leaves of Ai Puqing in the hall, uses calamus as a sword and inserts them on the lintel to ward off evil spirits, which has a magical effect of exorcising evil spirits. Paper kites are also called kites. Green mugwort and calamus are hung in front of every household, and children fly kites in the wild. "The fragrant leaves of zongzi float ten miles, carrying donkeys to wine." Donkeys: ancient vessels for holding wine and meat. The bottle contains wine and the bottle contains meat. People watch the dragon boat race by the river with fragrant zongzi and wine bottles. Dragon boat races on the river cheered each other, and some people recited Qu Yuan's "Li Sao" tragically and loudly by the river!
The next film, Homesickness, traces the tragedy of Chu Huaiwang's fatuity, Qu Yuan's exile and his suicide by throwing himself into the river. "Sighing that you are in a daze, mourning that Qin swallowed Chu", in a daze: a metaphor for being unreasonable, confused and ignorant of right and wrong. Qin swallowed Chu: In 223 BC, the State of Chu was destroyed by Qin. The poet lamented that Chu was destroyed by Qin. "A stranger shouted obscenity, and his temples turned white." Stranger: A stranger in another country. Qu Yuan was banished from his native land. I can't stop crying. I don't know how many white hairs there are. "In the morning and evening, the new pavilion shed tears, and the tears were exhausted in Lingyang." He was indignant at the national disaster, but he cried from morning till night, and finally his tears stopped in Lingyang. Qu Yuan was exiled for the second time and finally went to Lingyang. "Miluo Zhu Jiang, Xiang Lei has passed away, and there are only a thousand heartbroken sentences", referring to Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan reached the Miluo River, a tributary of Xiangjiang River, and drowned. The ancients called it Xiang Lei. By the Miluo River, Qu Yuan died, leaving only a heartbreaking poem.
This word praises the present and laments the past. The first part tries to render all kinds of grand occasions of the Dragon Boat Festival, but the next part focuses on and laments the tragic experience of Qu Yuan, which is intended to be remembered by today's people. The combination of light and shade in the poem makes Qu Yuan clear, directly criticizes the king of Chu as "fatuous", alludes to the current politics, points the finger at the Northern Song Dynasty, and puts the poet's own love and hate into it without showing any trace. The content of the word is mixed with reality, which describes the scene of celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival as "real". It is "empty" to feel sorry for Qu Yuan's bitterness and hatred; To write about Qu Yuan in a "virtual" way is really to write about yourself, which makes people feel deeply sorry for the sorrow of the ancients.
There are scenes in the words, picturesque scenery and objects in the paintings. After watching the movie, vivid folk landscape paintings came to my face: the symbol of children's arms, the green moxa of the door, the sword of calamus, kite dancing, drinking as a song, dragon boat racing and chanting the gift of the monarch, all of which showed the rich activities to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival today. Look at the next film, the faint, the swallowing of Chu by Qin, the tears of strangers, the tears of new pavilions and Miluo, all of which reproduce the vicissitudes of history. The picturesque scenery and sighing songs in these words greatly enrich the connotation of the words and show the cultural implication of the Dragon Boat Festival.
Su Shi also has a poem "Dragon Boat Festival in Huanxisha", which shows another style of the poet:
The light sweat permeates Bibi Bay, bathing in Fang Lan during the Dragon Boat Festival in the Ming Dynasty. Qingchuan is full of fragrance.
The colored thread is lightly wrapped around the red jade arm, and the fine print hangs Lv Yun obliquely. Beautiful women meet for a thousand years.
This word describes the scene when women celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. The first part describes their preparations before the festival: wearing thin green silk and bathing in water soaked with aromatic orchids; After careful combing, the waste balsam flowed all over the river. Next moment, according to the folk custom, they will gently wrap the colored thread around the jade arm and hang a record of exorcising evil spirits and praying for peace on the bun. Seeing them is like seeing a beautiful woman thousands of years ago. The description in the ci is exquisite, which vividly reproduces the women's elaborate dress before and after the Dragon Boat Festival, and shows people's enthusiasm and attention to the Dragon Boat Festival.
