Half an acre of square pond opened, and the sky was overcast.
Why is the water in the pond so clear? Because there is inexhaustible living water for it.
Second, Zhu's other poems
Boating, poetry to encourage learning, spring, reading books and Lan Jian's ideas. Third, the background
1 196 (in the second year of Qingyuan), Zhu was invited by Wu Lun and Wu Chang brothers in Hamawo village, Shangtang, Nancheng County to give lectures in the village, writing Rong Muxuan for Wu's guild hall, Book House for reading pavilion, Shecang Collection for the Shecang founded by Wu brothers, and also writing Shecang Collection in the village.
Fourth, appreciate
This is a philosophical poem expressing reading experience.
In the first sentence, "Half an acre of square pond opens", Zhu is studying in a mountain village, and his interest is strong. He looked up leisurely and saw a pond half an acre in front of him. This is the most common sight. In rural areas in southern China, such ponds can be seen everywhere. But in Zhu's pen, it has profound meaning.
In the second sentence, "the sky is drifting * * *", Zhu looked at the pond in front of him and realized that his inner world was crystal clear, just like a mirror. Although the mirror is small, it can shine into the whole world. So this square pond, which is only half an acre, has a lake-like weather. Although small, it can reflect the vast sky.
It is precisely by grasping this point that the poet made further exploration and wrote three or four philosophical sentences: "What is the clarity of the canal?" ? Because there is inexhaustible living water for it. If the poet grasps the "deep" and "clear" pool water, he can reflect the characteristics of "sky light and clouds". But the poet didn't stop there. He raised a further question. "Ask" the "square pond" "Is it that clear?" Ask why it is so "clear" that it can reflect "the sky and clouds". There is no way to answer this question by looking at this square pond in isolation.
The poet then opened his eyes and looked from a distance. Finally, he saw the "source" of "Fangtang" and found the answer. It is precisely because "Fangtang" is not passive water, it has inexhaustible "source" and continuously delivers "living water" to it. This is the image and ideological significance of this little poem.
