Tao Yuanming's Original Poem on Avoiding Arrogance and Rashness

Xingtian waved a shield axe, and a resolute battle continued.

First, "it is difficult to dance in the field, but always aim at it." Provenance introduction

"Xingtian dance is dry, and the ambition is always." From Reading Thirteen Classics of Mountains and Seas, it is a group of poems written by Tao Yuanming, a writer in Jin and Song Dynasties. The first poem is a preface, praising the joy of farming in seclusion, and the last twelve poems are based on Shan Hai Jing and Mu Chuan. This group of poems can be regarded as a comprehensive reflection of the poet's mood at that time.

Legends, myths, fables and historical facts in the world are transformed into wise sparks, mournful sighs, shocking roars, heartfelt admiration, instant epiphany, mysterious visions or warning declarations through their "magic mirrors".

Express the poet's lofty aspirations and feelings of dissatisfaction with reality. The whole poem mainly uses the technique of borrowing the past to satirize the present, which is natural in writing and profound in meaning.

Second, reading the original text and appreciation of Thirteen Classics of Mountains and Seas

The Jingwei contains tiny pieces of wood, which are used to fill the sea.

Xingtian waved a shield axe, and a resolute battle continued.

Similarly, all beings have no residual sorrow, become foreign bodies and have no remorse.

If there is no such character, how can the good times come?

Appreciation: Tao Yuanming loves freedom all his life, and rebellious spirit is an important theme of Tao's poems. This poem praises the mythical image of Jingwei and Xingtian, which is the embodiment of this spirit. The poet praised his persistent pursuit of freedom and expressed his grief and indignation with the allusions of Xingtian.
